About Lakeside Special Needs and Pediatric Dentistry

Lakeside Special Needs and Pediatric Dentistry runs a pediatric dental practice where the entire experience is built around children's comfort in the Denver area of Denver. The clinic is built around the day-to-day work — not boutique marketing — and serves kids from infancy through the teen years and the parents bringing them in. The shape of the practice fits patients who want a clear conversation about what's actually needed, with treatment staged around real priorities rather than a one-shot proposal on the first visit. If you're scoping a Denver dental option, this is a sensible practice to put on a short list of candidates and book a first visit with.

Services cover children's preventive cleanings, fluoride treatment, dental sealants on permanent molars, tooth-colored fillings on baby and adult teeth, child-friendly emergency visits for trauma or pain, and gentle behavioural guidance for nervous patients. The practice also handles behavioural guidance for nervous young patients for parents whose child needs a calmer setting than a general-dentist office can provide. Treatment is staged around what children's teeth actually need at each developmental window rather than being borrowed from adult-dentistry workflows.

If your child's first dental visit is coming up and you want a practice set up specifically for kids rather than a general office, this is a sensible first stop.

Cost framing for pediatric visits sits in the typical Denver pediatric-dentistry range, with most major insurance plans and many state programs accepted. Parents searching for kid-friendly dental clinic in Denver, dentist for toddlers and infants in Denver, or affordable pediatric dentist in Denver, CO commonly compare a couple of pediatric practices before settling on one, and a practice of this shape belongs on that shortlist. It suits families wanting one pediatric dental home through their child's growing years, and works particularly well when consistency matters more than a corporate-chain feel. The Denver location works for patients already running errands in this part of Denver, and parking and transit access tend to be straightforward for the surrounding blocks.

The medical care and staff’s attention during my son’s appointments, and the day of his surgery were excellent; everyone was super friendly. However, I was very disappointed with the follow-up care. They never called us to check on how my son was doing, nor was I given instructions regarding the antibiotics he was prescribed (how or when to administer the medication, etc.). The initial care was great, but the post-operative follow-up needs significant improvement.

I was gonna give this place five stars. The very first visit was very relieving calm in a safe space for my children, but today altitude anesthesia group they need to reevaluate who works on children and who communicates with parents with special-needs children and children with medical conditions I love this place at first, but who their partnered with is very unprofessional and kind of disappointing as the front office asked was very nice even the dentist I first saw was very nice as well, but where they lack will be the anesthesia G group and Dr. Sujin yi , I provided medical records of my Daughters medical history and from being from Texas and moving here The dental work, but due to anesthesia Anastasia group, they clearly don’t care about anyone unprofessional to be yelling at parents at 5 AM and to be on a power trip when they know nothing about the child. This is the problem with the medical field. Many gets their degree and just to collect a check rather than take the time out And patience medical records before giving a medical decision, very unprofessional, and that provider was very problematic and I will be making a report To the board regarding sujin yi .

Wow!! to say that I am impressed with this place would be a gross understatement! Transferred my 20 year-old special needs son here for his sedation dentistry and am never going anywhere else but here again! After years of difficult, traumatic, exhaustive & nearly impossible scheduling, today's visit was a breath of fresh air. For my son and for me! The staff was so pleasant, professional, kind, & most importantly, excellent with my son! Dr. Moezzi & Dr. Zylstra were both incredible & so patient with us. I've never seen my son smiling before a dental procedure, but he sure was today! Thank you for making today such a pleasant experience for us. We will be back!! :)

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Lakeside Special Needs Dentistry for the exceptional care provided to my daughter, Faith N. Faith is a very complex patient, and after visiting seven different dental offices where providers were unable to effectively manage her needs, this experience was truly life-changing for us. The two technicians, Jade and Camila and Dr.Rale, who assisted with her care were incredibly patient, compassionate, and skilled especially during her X-rays, which have always been a significant challenge. Their calm and understanding approach made a tremendous difference in helping her feel safe and supported throughout the process. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Dr. Gordon and the anesthesia team for their outstanding bedside manner and professionalism. Knowing my daughter was in capable and caring hands while under sedation gave me great peace of mind. The level of teamwork and collaboration demonstrated by the entire staff was remarkable. As a healthcare professional myself, I recognize and deeply value high-quality patient care. This team exemplifies excellence in both clinical expertise and customer service. I can confidently say that I trust this facility, and I was highly recommended by another dentist. I will absolutely continue to recommend Lakeside Special Needs Dentistry to other families especially those with special healthcare needs. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of my daughter. Christina P. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

GO HERE!! I took my autistic toddler to these angels and they were so sweet and patient!! They curate the experience to you (or your child’s) comfort level to create a welcoming environment. I’m so grateful for this dentist office. The doctor was quick with the oral exam and answered every single one of my questions without rushing me through the process. Our dental assistant, Priscilla, was so relatable and sweet to my baby boy. Thank you, thank you to the staff for being so accommodating! We will definitely be back!

Shaky at first with the scheduling as we were scheduled on a pediatric day for my senior family member waisting a drive from Greeley to Denver. Incredibly frustrating. We rescheduled and glad we did. The care team that actually worked with my family member with Dementia was great. They understood the concerns and addressed everything under one day use of sedation which would have required three sedative appointments otherwise using an oral surgeon. Very good at what they do and there is a need for this service in more locations.

We love it here! Very accommodating and patient. Also work efficiently and fast. I have more than one child and love that they try to book together when possible to make it easier for us. Communication is clear and so far everything has gone very smoothly. I am very appreciative that they offer anesthesia for getting more extensive work done. Staff is very patient with all kids in general and even those that require a little more. We plan on keeping our children’s dental care here.
