Legacy Dental

Stay away! This was not a welcoming or professional environment. I called Legacy Dental to schedule appointments for my family and provided my insurance information, which covers all of us. My husband also has secondary insurance, but because he was at work, I did not have those details available. I explained that I would obtain the information and provide it before his appointment. Instead of responding calmly or allowing me time to obtain the information, the woman became rude and raised her voice, insisting that his secondary insurance information was required to keep the appointment. I asked why she was being so difficult and raising her voice when I had already provided our primary insurance information and assured her that we would submit the secondary information before the appointment. She then screamed that all of our appointments were canceled. When I questioned why she was yelling at me, she continued yelling and hung up. I was shocked by her tone and complete lack of professionalism. If this is how prospective patients are treated while simply trying to schedule appointments and provide insurance information, I would not feel comfortable trusting Legacy Dental with my family’s care. I found another place with San Antonio Dental and they were very professional, kind and absolutely pleasant.

Learn to read your own X-rays and please do not come here. They will tell you you have cavities when you don't actually have any. This kills the natural lifespan of your tooth and makes you a lifelong customer since you have to get cavity fillings redone every couple years. The dentist also drilled into the wrong tooth. He wrote down treatment for tooth Number 12 on my receipt Which had a very minor reversible impurity. The only impurity that was seen in the x-rays and he drilled into number 13 which had nothing. Great. Doctor Stewart Anderson. It is a very painful cavity filling, and very sensitive to temperature. I feel so incredibly violated as it is also not a pleasant experience. They also did two other cavity fillings and a cleaning. The reason I came here was because they promoted a cleaning for $80 but they're charging the Insurance 200 for it as well as me. I have never had cavity fillings in my whole life and took pride in my oral hygiene, but they use scare tactics, and unfortunately I thought I could trust an authority figure. I got Insurance to help pay my $1016 bill and the Insurance picked it up completely, but then they also charged my card the ENTIRE balance after a couple months. they got double paid now and this office refuses to refund me despite being told numerous times by my Insurance that they must do so. They spent a long time telling me that Insurance never paid for it but I can literally see that they did through the Presbyterian app and my Insurance has said so as well. they sent me some weird screenshot saying that my Claim was denied and the screenshot looked a little Photoshopped. I cannot make this up. I have had four customer service reps talk to the ladies and they finally admitted that my Insurance did cover it but that they are not obligated to refund me. The lady that works in the financial department, monica has been very condescending Despite me having been very kind. I'm not sure if they get commission out of scamming people as well. In front of my customer service reps, They act like they are gonna give me a refund check Then they will come up with another excuse. I have been trying to figure out the refund part for almost 9 months now and I have no other choice than to pursue legal action. Also, Dentaquest paid $2700 for my $1016 dollar service??? Scammy all around. These people are mad They can't buy their third Tesla. This is all extremely unethical and you can tell these people have never been held accountable. And unfortunately, most Dental offices are like this. It took me a while to find a dentist to look at the x-rays that Legacy Dental took and validate what I'm saying, because once other offices, see that you have cavity fillings and you have already been scammed, all of a sudden you have cavities in every single one of your teeth. This is the reason why I became suspicious at first because cavities Don't form that quickly. And when I went for my second cleaning last year after being extra perfect with my oral hygiene, other dentists We're so quick to be condescending. They wouldn't even explain to me where they would see them. One dentist pointed to a possible location and said it's a possible cavity. Then They leave you in the chair for so long you fall asleep And then they have their front desk Ladies tell you you're "treatment plan" and all of a sudden 1 potential cavity spot turns into 11 cavities. It's definitely more severe when you have insurance. So also do not go to family choice. Dental on 98th and tru care Dental on golf course. Also, a lot of their good reviews are fake. I found my friend with a very uncommon first and last name in their google reviews and I asked her if she actually thought they were good and she said that while she was at her waitressing job someone tipped her well to write a good review about their business. You have got to be kidding me. This needs to be taken to social media

Always a great cleaning, very professional. She always keeps the costumer smiling and makes every experience worth going back.

Hello good afternoon. I had a hygiene visit today and it was so amazing. Great attended me with such amazing attitude. I love it and especially the receptionist. she welcomed me with a good hello and also, she attended me very quick. The nurse attending me very quick. She came and was very nice to meet and my mom. I love it and she was great not only the nurses all the people Around best visit ever

I had a wonderful experience at my dental appointment! My hygienist, Priscilla, gave me one of the best cleanings I've ever had. She was thorough, precise and confident in her technique, and did an amazing job. Dr. Anderson performed my exam and check-up and was also very kind and pleasant. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and I truly appreciate the excellent care I received. Highly recommend!

Seriously .... the best dentist office in Albuquerque. I am always impressed with how "on time" they are with appointments. I have waited in other dentist offices for 30 minutes before being called back and then another 15-20-sometimes 30 minutes before treatment starts. My hygienist Priscilla was AMAZING. So kind. So considerate. She explained as she went along, and made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend her and Legacy for your dental needs.

My hygienist Prescilla, is absolutely amazing. She is Professional and very personable. She cleans my teeth extreamly well. I really appreciate her kindness.

Dr. Lines is always very professional and friendly. Everyone there from the office staff to the hygienists are all so helpful and personable. I have been going there for over ten years now. I’ve been very happy with the level of care I receive at Legacy.
