Full service dentistry. Joanne kim is my dentist here. She is most likely the best ii have had. The whole staff there from the front desk to the assistance can't be beat.

Liz (Elizabeth Bautista) is the best hygienist!! She always makes me feel comfortable and keeps me laughing, even though I absolutely hate going to the dentist! She’s awesome and makes the whole experience much easier.

* September 16th, 2026 - Wednesday I’m back again at my one and only dentist office I trust. Here today on my third root canal ever since Covid 2020. Every staff at this location deserves my thank you. It’s the people that work here that made me look no where else for a home dentist. I got checked in (thank you Ahmari and I’m so sorry I forgot the other kind girl that worked this morning) quick and from there the process began. Dr. Michael is such a great guy. Before he does anything he always let me know first so I’m ready for it. The kind nurse and Dr. Michael as expected did great work and I’m off to the second phase which is working on the crown. I’m telling you Dr. Kevin cares about his patients. I’ve known him for a while now and I’m grateful again for a job well done on my busted teeth. The kind nurse and Dr. Kevin paved way to set the temp crown. An awesome gentleman put on my temp crown and kind front desk lady set me up for next week to put the permanent crown. I appreciate all the people here so much. Another successful treatment because of all of you. I didn’t catch everyone’s name, like the nurse that took my X-ray, I’m sad. * January 29th, 2026 - Thursday Always a bit nervous when coming to get teeth worked on, but the great workers here make it as comfortable as they can. All the staff here are so approachable, warm, welcoming. This is the reason I been coming to them since Covid. Supposed to come in for regular clean, but unfortunately I had to do deep clean. As if I wasn’t nervous already, but Y the hygienist was so great. She explained to me all the things she will do and to ease any tension she put music in the background as she went to work. The music definitely calmed me, but majority of the credit must go to Y for her care, thoughtfulness. Not gonna lie, my teeth needed work, ugh. I can tell you after all she did my teeth felt spankin new again. Felt smooth, refined, refreshed, clean. Thank you Y for what you did for me today and making me feel comfortable. After the procedure Doc came to check on me. I love this guy, he knows me really well. Not that I’m anyone special, I’m sure Doc is like this with all his patients. I really appreciate him always letting me know in detail what I need to do to keep the care of my teeth and what I should look into in the future, I trust Docs recommendation. Thanks for all the care after all these years, you’re the best. Thank you to all the staff here from the kind front desk ladies checking me in and out and the awesome girl that did the X-ray. Dr. Chung and Liz were very helpful during my appointment today. Aside from the normal cleaning, they helped my retainer fit better, and scheduled a follow up appointment sooner than later

I am updating my previous review to add another wonderful experience. I had the honor of meeting Dr. lyad Sood and staff Ms. Kristie and Ms. Saida. Let me tell you something they are definitely the “A” Team, I was nervous about the surgery and Kristie calm me down by saying it will be like a deep cleaning. I was relaxed after that then Dr. Sood and Saida entered the room and told me you are going to be okay and you will not feel any pain. They were Right, no pain during the surgery or after the surgery. They were so professional, kind and caring about me and my wellbeing. Maybe 37 minutes later Dr. Sood said we are done with the surgery, I said for real are you sure he said yes, but I didn’t feel any pain. I will recommend anyone that read this email please go see Dr. Sood, Kristie and Saida for this type of surgery. They are “Simply the Best “. I give them 5 Stars across the board. I Thank God for this team for taking great care of me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️ —————————————— Y hygienist was outstanding in taking care of me and my concerns of my teeth 🦷 and ensure me to use the waterpik to floss everyday to improve my gum health. She is truly professional and very kind, she should be awarded to the job well done. Please give her a gift certificate at least a minimum $100 dollar. Also Ms. Amari and Mr. Valid provided me with Excellent customer service when I came to the Long Beach Smile Dentistry. They treated everyone with respect and the upmost professionalism kindness and should be recognized for their service to a job well done.

Had an amazing experience at Smiles Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, Lien made me feel so welcome. She was friendly, helpful, and made the whole check-in process smooth and stress-free. Y, Hygienist, was fantastic and did an incredible job! Very professional, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time during the deep cleaning. Dr. Chung was awesome! Everything was explained clearly, and the quality of care was top-notch. I left feeling confident and well taken care of. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

Dr. Chung is the best! Very trustworthy, kind, and really cares about his patients. The staff is also very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Overall great experience! 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family! They also do an amazing charity event for free teeth cleanings 🤩

I feel that the front desk people have improved as far as being friendlier. I love having Dr Chung as my dentist. I trust him. He is very polite, knowledgeable, reliable, kind, and easy to talk to. I trust his opinions and recommendations. Nancy is the BEST oral hygienist. She is so skilled, easy to converse with and is so thorough. The only thing is, they sometimes book too many patients back to back, so the wait is a little longer.

Been going to LB Smiles for a few years now. Liz has been my hygienist, and she's caught every dental issue I've had at each visit. Highly recommend!

Y was very gentle with my SRP, I almost fell asleep. Very painless and fun. Lol
