Neighborhood family dentist in Denver

Lowry Advanced Dentistry is a general-dentistry practice set up for the everyday work most patients actually need, located on East 8th Avenue in Denver. The clinic is built around the day-to-day work — not boutique marketing — and serves adults and kids in one familiar place. The shape of the practice fits patients who want a clear conversation about what's actually needed, with treatment staged around real priorities rather than a one-shot proposal on the first visit. If you're scoping a Denver dental option, this is a sensible practice to put on a short list of candidates and book a first visit with.
Service coverage spans the standard general-dentistry breadth: routine cleanings and exams, tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, basic extractions, and gum-disease management. The practice also handles after-hours emergency dental visits for cracked teeth or sudden pain when patients need them, alongside the routine preventive work. Restorations lean conservative — composite material rather than amalgam — and most needs are kept in-house, with specialty referrals reserved for cases that genuinely call for them rather than offered up front.
If you've recently moved into the area and want a no-drama dental home for the whole family, this is the kind of practice where booking a first cleaning is a reasonable opening move.
Cost positioning sits in the typical Denver general-dentistry range, with most major insurance plans accepted and clear pretreatment estimates before restorative work begins. Patients searching for family dental practice in Denver, routine dental care in Denver, or general dentist near me in Denver commonly land at neighborhood practices like this one — generalists rather than narrow specialty offices. It suits families wanting consistency over many years, patients who value predictable scheduling, and anyone who'd rather have one trusted dentist see the same teeth across decades than rotate through a corporate group practice. The Denver location works for patients already running errands in this part of Denver, and parking and transit access tend to be straightforward for the surrounding blocks.
Lowry Advanced Dentistry on East 8th Avenue in Denver runs a general-dentistry practice covering cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, and basic emergency care for adults and kids for Denver families.

I visited them for tooth pain 3 months ago. They assessed what needed to be done and told me they would submit it to insurance and call me back when it was approved to set up an appointment. A month amd a half passed and I called them back to see what was happening. The lady on the phone didnt really seem to know anything, I had to explain the procedure they mentioned before since it seemed tbey lost the record. so I asked if there was anyone else I could call for insurance to speed the process up. She said no and found a way to end the conversation assuring me it wouldn't be much longer. A week later I get an approval notice for the work however at the top it did have the date it was submitted which was the week before when I called. I called to set an appointment but the soonest they had was about a month out. They never apologized or took responsibility for completely forgetting about submitting approval to insurance and then still set my date a month out and mind you i was in pain this entire time with a chipped tooth. Well I called around and found a dentist with good reviews that got me in the next day and had the work approved and done a week later. I just canceled my appointment with them today and they seemed unconcerned about it all. Wouldn't recommend, they seem disorganized and like they don't really care about your business. Or at least the reception doesn't the dentist was good thats why they get 2 stars even though they forgot about me and my painful tooth lol.
I’ve been to many dentists over the years, and most immediately pushed for the most extreme measures. Dr Torrance was the first who actually took the time to think everything through and treated me as an individual with a mouth—not just a mouth. He created a thoughtful, very affordable treatment plan and made sure I understood why each recommendation was being made. I left feeling educated, respected, and genuinely relieved. I’m so excited to have found such a wonderful dentist.
My appointment went well today. Dr. Torrance was gracious, attentive, listen to my needs and as a result was able restore my smile today. He was thorough and explained the procedures that I would be having at this visit. He was professional and made me feel important. I felt comfortable and didn't feel rushed during my appointment. I highly recommend Lowry Advanced Dentistry. Thank you so much Dr. Torrance and staff.
My first visit to Lowry Dentistry was outstanding! They were so thorough ahead of my appointment in confirming my insurance and getting my documents from my previous dentist, then got me in and out in about an hour for my first appointment. I have sensitive teeth and the X-rays and cleaning was the least painful I’ve ever had at a dentist and everyone I interacted with was kind and clear about what they were doing! I would highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a great experience.
I’ve been coming her for many years. From the combination of dentists refusing to examine my teeth twice in one year because “I’m young and healthy,” to dentists and hygienists rushing through my cleaning, to not being told that in fact a dentist would not do my filling, but the hygienists would, to having that filling be done twice because of sensitivity issues and having the dentist say he is “confident” he could fix it himself a third time, to having to pay a copay because they refused to bill my insurance first and had my pay out of pocket “in case” my insurance didn’t pay 100%, which they do, and didn’t offer to bill my insurance before treatments until I voiced me switching to a different dentist.
