Luxe Dental Austin - Michelle Hedgecock DDS

We recently found out that Dr. Hedgecock retired. No letter to patients, no notice from the new doctor. Seems very strange to abruptly leave and leave your patients hanging. She also told me that my child had three cavities-one of which she filled. I took her to two other dentists and they both said she didn't have any.

Dr. Michelle Hedgecock is so wonderful. She is kind, gentle, thorough, and has stellar bedside manner. Her hygienists are wonderful as well. I have been very happy with my care with Dr. Michelle Hedgecock.

I went to see Michelle Hedgecock after she and another dentist bought out my dentists practice when he retired. They then moved the practice to a new location in South Austin at William Canon and Escarpment. Dr. Hedgecock reported at a routine checkup that I needed a crown. Her hygenist seemed upset after the dentist left and hinted to me to get a second opinion. I went to a new dentist and made no mention of Dr. Hedgecocks diagnosis. My new dentist said my teeth were healthy and needed no work. The tooth in question many years later is crown free, nor have I had any other crowns or major dental work. I changed dentists at that time. I cannot say if she misdiagnosed, had a bad work day or was purposefully in requesting a higher compensated procedure that was uneeded. Wish I could thank the hygentist. Considering the importance of dental health and how it can affect your overall health I am writing this review to share this particular experience with this dentist.

I am hard to numb. Dr. Hedgecock, Ashley and Chelsea were all wonderful. Dr. Hedgecock took great care to make sure I was comfortable while getting a crown. The headphones and movie available were helpful to drown out the noise and distract, too. In addition, our daughter has had wonderful airway improvement and teeth straightening with the HealthyStart appliance. You are worth the drive Dr. Hedgecock!

I’m not sure if Dr. Hedgecock is an extreme perfectionist or looking to pay off a mortgage on a new lake house. I went in for an initial consultation and was told I had 13 cavities, needed prescription toothpaste and Invisalign. Naturally, I went to for a second opinion where the new Dentist informed me it was only three cavities and that my teeth were nice, but could be touched up if I wanted to go the Invisalign route…felt like a much more accurate diagnosis. Dr. Hedgecock did seem really nice though.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Michelle and her amazing staff. They are the most caring, attentive, loving, and funny group of beautiful women. I came into her office filled with so much anxiety and fear, but they went above and beyond giving me the reassurance I needed to care for myself. I cannot recommend this office enough. They are truly gifted in dentistry and care. I look forward to Michelle and her team being my dental care providers for the years to come.

Dr. Hedgecock and her staff were wonderful! This was my first visit and I felt at ease and pampered from start to finish. Her initial exam was thorough and her explanation of my current situation and future expectations were clear and thoughtful. I highly recommend this dental practice to those searching for a highly skilled and compassionate dentist.

Dr. Michelle and all of her staff are truly amazing! They are a blessing to me considering I have a fear of going to the dentist. From start to finish it is a welcoming, pleasant experience. I will 1000% recommend Dr. Michelle to anyone! Luxe Dental is honestly the best!

Dr. Hedgecock is one of the best dentist I’ve seen in my life. I was referred to her office, and I had two permanent crowns done along with a crown lengthening procedure. The processes were as painless as they could get, but more importantly, I cannot complaint about the quality of her work in any way. She had also demonstrated professionalism and attentiveness throughout my treatments. Her office is modern, the staffs are super friendly and competent. I sincerely recommend Dr. Hedgecock as a dentist for anyone. One more thing, the dental hygienist – Amy – was also awesome. One of the best. Totally recommend!

The experience with Luxe Dental for my kids and me was fantastic. It’s tucked into a quiet office park with easy parking. The check-in process was smooth and fast. The hygienist did an amazing job! She was efficient and gentle, and she worked with my 6 and 4 year old kids perfectly. Dr. Michelle is exceptional with her patients and clearly has a great relationship with her staff. She was easy to talk to, discussed the findings of the exam, and laid out a clear and convenient treatment plan. I’ll be referring my friends to this practice!
