About Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Miami Beach
Alton Road at 4308, Suite 930, in the Nautilus neighborhood of Miami Beach, ZIP 33140, is in the upper stretch of Alton Road where it transitions from South Beach into the mid-beach corridor of Miami Beach. This address is on a different section of Alton Road from the South Beach practices at 1235 and 1315 — the Nautilus neighborhood (33140) is distinct from the South Beach ZIP (33139), occupying the mid-beach area between South Beach and North Beach. Suite 930 is a ninth-floor professional space in a building on this Nautilus stretch of Alton Road.
Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Miami Beach is a DSO (dental service organization) chain specializing in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, providing both children's dental care and orthodontic alignment treatment under one brand name and roof. The "Main Street" brand positions the chain as accessible and neighborhood-oriented — a practice that serves the everyday dental and orthodontic needs of children and families rather than presenting as a clinical specialty center.
Pediatric dentistry at a DSO chain ensures clinical protocols and child-friendly environments are standardized across locations, with pediatric dentists trained in behavioral management and the specific clinical techniques appropriate for treating patients from infancy through adolescence. The combination of pediatric dental care and orthodontics under one roof means a child can transition from routine preventive care to braces or Invisalign treatment without changing practices as they grow.
Orthodontics for children and adolescents addresses the developmental alignment issues — crowding, crossbite, overbite, spacing — that are most effectively treated during the growth years when the jaw is still developing. Early orthodontic intervention can reduce the complexity of treatment needed in adulthood and can address spacing issues before all permanent teeth erupt.
For Miami Beach families in the Nautilus and surrounding mid-beach communities of ZIP 33140 seeking pediatric and orthodontic dental care in a chain practice known for child-appropriate environments, Main Street Children's Dentistry at Suite 930, 4308 Alton Road, provides that specialized children's dental home in the Miami Beach corridor.

They have a very professional and specialized team for children. They are responsible, the office is clean and pleasant, and all the procedures they have performed on my children have been excellent. I highly recommend them.
The staff is very respectful, I love the fact that you don’t have to sit and wait for a long period of time . They have you in and out ! 10/10 . I would definitely recommend.
Dee and Angie ♥️♥️♥️♥️ They are all very professional. Excellent service, I highly recommend them 💯 💯
I’m writing this while my son is still mid-treatment because other parents deserve to know what to expect here. What’s been good: The staff are lovely. The front desk team has been courteous and welcoming every visit. The female dentist is outstanding with my son — her clinical care is the only reason we haven’t left. What’s unacceptable: 1. Laura’s conduct: My administrative interactions with Laura have been adversarial and combative. The verbal and written communication I’ve received has been feeble, feels inappropriate, and comes across as hostile when I request basic documentation or clarification. When I’ve asked for standard records, I’ve received dismissive responses, no attention to detail, and zero follow-through. This is not how patients should be treated. 2. Informed consent failure: My son’s palate expander was placed before I was given consent forms to review or sign. My conversations with Laura about this were not transparent. Consent is not optional and it is not retroactive. 3. Billing and disclosure: I was told the total fee, paid the required down payment, and we have a signed agreement stating that $204.16 would be due after the down payment was complete. At no point was I told that routine 1–2 minute follow-up visits would be billed separately on top of that signed agreement. Sunshine Health does not cover my son here. They failed to send the payment link on the 15th as required by our signed agreement, then told me by email they “cannot send links to patients every month” and put the burden on me to initiate payments. I have repeatedly requested an itemized billing statement from Laura with service dates, actual numbers, and a detailed explanation of how payments are applied toward that signed agreement. I have received nothing — no documentation, only verbal assertions with no paper trail. If they refuse to send payment links per the signed agreement but also won’t provide itemized statements, that’s a deliberate lack of transparency. An itemized statement must include actual numbers and a detailed explanation — that’s baseline for any healthcare office. 4. Orthodontist communication: The orthodontist gives my son 60-second “looks good, see you in two weeks” check-ins with no explanation of progress or next steps. That is not adequate communication for pediatric treatment, especially when those visits generate separate charges I was never told about upfront. Bottom line: I trust the female dentist’s work. I do not trust the administrative practices or communication standards. Laura’s handling of consent and billing has been unprofessional, and the verbal and written communication has been feeble and hostile when addressing legitimate concerns. Despite our signed agreement for $204.16 after the down payment, I have received no itemized statement showing service dates, charges, or how my money is being applied — no paper trail, no accountability. Transparency and respect should come before treatment starts. I cannot recommend this office due to administrative discrepancies and shady management by admin.
I’ve been a patient here since 2024, when I got my braces, and the team has been improving my smile quickly and with great care ever since. Alexandra is the one who takes care of my teeth during my visits, she’s always gentle and makes sure I’m comfortable, never causing any pain. She does an excellent job and brings such a positive, welcoming energy to every appointment.
I really liked this office and the staff are truly amazing, kind, and professional. They make kids feel comfortable and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. However, the waiting time is a big issue for me. I’ve been here twice, and during my last visit, I waited over an hour past my 9:30 appointment just to be seen. I don’t understand why so many patients are scheduled if the timing can’t be respected. I also noticed I wasn’t the only one frustrated, as other patients were complaining about the same thing. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue. It’s disappointing because I genuinely liked the place, but the long waits are a deal breaker for me. I won’t be returning and will be looking for another office.
Fantastic experience for my children! The assistant Alexandra was very professional warm and welcoming. My kids actually look forward to their check-ups now. Highly recommend for families.
I had a wonderful experience at Main Street Children's Dentist & Orthodontics. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was very welcoming. The assistant, Alexandra, was the one who assisted my son; she possesses incredible knowledge, is very attentive, and took the time to explain the entire procedure to me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for attentive care.
I had always been happy with this place, my two kids had been attended since they were little but in the last visit with muy daughter, they recommended to me a treatment to stop the growth of a cavity it was a dark product they were supposed to put it on my daughter tooth and the lady that seem to be new put a lot on the side of her mouth, she has the side of her mouth a stain, it looks like a tattoo. I’m so disappointed, she had to go to school like that, she was walking in covering her mouth. They shouldn’t use new people experiment on our kids.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mount Sinai Dentistry with my 5-year-old daughter on June 17, 2025. The dental assistant, Alexander, completely ignored my child no greeting, no eye contact, no reassurance during her cleaning. The energy was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. At first, I gave the benefit of the doubt maybe it was a rough day or a language issue. But shortly after, I witnessed the same assistant warmly interact with another child, a white Spanish boy. Her whole demeanor changed smiling, encouraging, even offering him a high five and she spoke fluent English, making it clear communication was never the issue. Even my daughter’s father, who was on the phone during the appointment, commented on how unusually quiet and disconnected the assistant seemed during the entire interaction. The contrast in treatment was undeniable and appeared racially motivated. My daughter deserved the same kindness and acknowledgment as every other child in that office. I submitted a formal complaint, and no one from the clinic ever followed up. PARENTS OF COLOR: Be aware. This experience was deeply upsetting, and I will not be bringing my child back. RESPONSE 02/28/2026 This review was not left in error and was intended for the correct location. My child was seen at your office, and the experience described above occurred during that visit. I also submitted a formal complaint afterward and did not receive any follow-up. Rather than assuming a mistake and requesting removal, I would have appreciated acknowledgment of the concerns raised. My intention was not to harm your reputation, but to share our experience as it occurred. I stand by what I wrote.
