I had a wonderful first experience at Making You Smile. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, rather than simply like another patient. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful without feeling forced. Alicia, my hygienist, was professional, thorough, and very kind. Dr. Ziad was excellent: professional, approachable, and understanding. He explained how I could best care for my oral health in a clear and respectful way, without being patronizing. I also really appreciated that the office contacted my insurance beforehand and charged me exactly what I had been told to expect. Overall, a great experience, and I am very happy to have found this practice.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Jalbout and the entire team. From the beginning, they took the time to listen to all of my concerns and made sure every question was answered thoroughly. They were incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about making me feel comfortable throughout the process. What stood out most was how gentle they were during treatment. They explained each step before doing it, checked in frequently to make sure I was doing okay, and made what could have been a stressful dental visit feel easy and comfortable. They did everything I asked for, paid close attention to detail, and made sure I was happy with the results. It’s clear that they take pride in their work and truly care about their patients. Amazing and skilled dentist! Dr. Ziad Jalbout corrected my chipped upper tooth and identified the cause to prevent recurrence. He was able to balance my upper teeth and restore a semblance of symmetry to my smile without the need for artificial bonding material or extreme measures such as crowns or veneers. He has a rare skill for enameloplasty, the artistic and meticulous reshaping of the natural tooth material, which many board certified dentists apparently lack either the conviction or experience to attempt. He was the fourth professional I consulted, and the first to have the confidence in his prowess to correct the problem without resorting to comparatively temporary measure like bonding, which I was personally keen to avoid, having heard reports of mismatch with natural enamel as colouration shifts, or breakage over years of use. The existence of sufficiently excessive natural enamel in my particular case made it possible to correct the shape of my top front teeth (incisors) without introducing supplemental material. If you have any cosmetic dental needs, I would highly recommend Making You Smile, NYC Dr. Jalbout’s practice.
