The Dentist's Dentist! I recently broke a tooth and needed a crown. Dr Manyak fixed my tooth in one day and made everything so easy! Her staff did a great job checking to make sure I was comfortable. She was able to use her Solea laser to fix a part of my tooth that had broken off, saving me from saving me from additional gum sugery. I picked Dr Manyak because of her abilities, and I should know because I'm a dentist myself!

Awesome experience at Manyak! They took great care of me and I’m looking forward to keeping them for all my dental needs. Update: A year or so later, I can confirm the level of care is high at Manyak. However, after switching companies and insurance, Manyak told me that the entire time I was actually OUT of network for all of my procedures so far. I remember explicitly asking them during my first appointment to check on network status, and I remember they told me (1) they covered most insurances, and then that (2) Guardian would cover me. If they had told me explicitly I was out of network though, I would not have followed through with them for such major work. While it's user error on my part to not have verified this before coming in, I find it slimy and unethical that Manyak's office conned me to believing I was in-network this whole time. Only upon realizing that Manyak was out-of-network for my NEW insurance provider did they reveal to me that I was out-of-network for all of my procedures this whole time. This cost me literally thousands of dollars.

Thoughtful and thorough. Came here in a dental emergency and never looked back. Very cohesive team. Conveniently located downtown San Mateo and they validate parking in the office building garage. Little touches like blankets and warm towels post appointment elevate this team!

In fact, I frequently run into staff members around town—at local restaurants and community events—and I’m always greeted with the same big smiles and friendly hellos. What I appreciate most is the virtually pain-free experience, thanks to their state-of-the-art, 21st-century technology and equipment. The office is modern, efficient, and makes going to the dentist virtually stress-free. When an unscheduled visit is necessary, they do their best to squeeze you in and accommodate your needs. The downtown San Mateo location is another big plus, with easy parking and plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. Professional, caring, and genuinely friendly—I’m always happy to recommend Manyak Dental.

I could not ask for a better dentist. Not only is Dr.Manyak incredible, her entire staff is simply amazing. I feel so supported in my dental journey.
