Amazing place, amazing people! I’ve had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but that changed when I found this place. I genuinely enjoy coming here for every treatment—it really feels like family.

We’re very grateful to have Dr. Oxana caring for our family. She is an excellent dentist, and what really stands out is how much she genuinely cares about her patients’ overall health. She is thorough, caring, knowledgeable, and someone we truly trust. Dr. Oxana has become our family’s go-to dentist, and we highly recommend her and her amazing team to anyone looking for quality dental care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mussa, and I want to start by saying that he is a very knowledgeable and kind dentist. I have always appreciated his professionalism and care. However, my recent experience with the front desk was very disappointing. On February 6th, I had a 10:00 AM appointment with Dr. Mussa. I arrived on time despite a snowstorm and drove all the way to Barrie. Unfortunately, the doctor had not arrived, and the receptionist was also not there initially. I waited until around 11:00 AM, but the doctor did not show up. The receptionist told me the office would call me on Monday and offer me priority to reschedule to make up for the missed appointment. However, no one called to reschedule or even apologize for the inconvenience and the time and gas spent driving there in difficult weather conditions. After about two weeks, I called the office myself to follow up. Unfortunately, my concern wasn't taken seriously. The receptionist did not assist in finding a suitable appointment time with Dr. Mussa. Each time I suggested a day that worked for my schedule, I was told the doctor was either on vacation or unavailable due to a health issue. The only option I was offered was an appointment almost a month later. I asked her to send a message to Dr. Mussa explaining the situation and that I was having difficulty rebooking, but I never received a response from the office. I'm disappointed. Dr. Mussa is a very good dentist, but the lack of communication and support from the front desk has made this experience frustrating. I hope the office can improve its communication and patient service in the future.

Like a butcher, this dentist cut all my soft tissues — clumsy and careless. She used aggressive drilling and sandpaper as if she were polishing a wall, not working on a tooth. The dentist and assistant commented on how much I was bleeding, acted confused about the cause, and blamed my hormones, even though they clearly caused it. I’m not the only one — a few people I know had similar experiences. I will definitely warn others. Completely unacceptable.

The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The entire team was gentle, thorough, and genuinely caring throughout the appointment. I especially appreciated how they made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. If you’re looking for a dental office that combines professionalism with a friendly, patient-focused approach, I highly recommend Maplewood Dental. I’m very happy with my experience and will definitely be returning for future visits!

Excellent dentist and wonderful experience! My son and I have both visited Dr. Oxana and we are very happy with the treatment we received. She is incredibly patient, attentive, and caring with her clients. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. My son also felt safe and relaxed, which means a lot. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist!
