I've been going to this office for about two years now, and I truly couldn't be happier that I found them. I have pretty severe dental anxiety, and every single person here has made such a difference. Jill, the first face you see, is one of the kindest, most compassionate people you'll ever meet. She immediately puts you at ease and makes every visit feel comfortable. She has such an amazing presence, never makes you feel rushed or judged, and genuinely cares about how you're doing. She goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable, and I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about her. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their patients. Dr. Ortega is exceptional—professional, thorough, and always takes the time to explain everything, which has completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I never thought I'd actually look forward to dental appointments, but this office has made that possible. I recommend them to everyone I know. Dr. Ortega is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. He is incredibly patient, kind, and has a great sense of humor that helps put you at ease. I have been going to Dr. Ortega for over two decades. And he delivers awesome service. This is the dentist you can trust.. I need to be sedated sometimes and sometimes not but when it is needed, it’s no problem. He always follows up with health checks after big procedures and if anything funky starts happening, he will get you in right away. I had a lot of dental trauma when I was younger and was deathly afraid of dentists but he took that all away! One thing about the staff is that they are very caring and on top of everything. If there is some problem with your insurance, they will fight for you. Love this place I urge you to come here if you have any kind of dental anxiety. Oh I forgot to mention towards the end of my procedure there was and earthquake!! Everyone remained calm took a few minutes to recover and then things went on as normal! The building was rockin, and they were literally rock stars about it!

Dr. Ortega is by far the most skilled Dentist in San Diego. I’d say the BEST in the West Coast.
