About Mediclinic Mirdif
Mediclinic Mirdif provides dental care in Dubai. Pediatric dental care is built around treating children specifically — dentists with additional training in child development and behaviour management, and offices designed to make a first visit unintimidating. Guidance generally points to a child's first dental visit around age one or within six months of the first tooth.
General dentistry covers the routine and restorative care most people need most often — examinations, cleanings, fillings, and preventive checks that catch problems while they are still small and inexpensive to treat. Regular attendance, roughly every six months for most patients, is what makes that early-catch approach actually work.
Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.
Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.
Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.
Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave. Part of a wider healthcare group in the Mirdif area of Dubai, Mediclinic Mirdif treats patients of every age, blending general dentistry for adults with children's dental care designed to keep young patients relaxed and comfortable from their earliest visits.

One of the worst Service Ever, First they never treat you as customer patient, even if you take appointment, there are walkin customers concept, so if your appointment is 6 pm. You will enter 6:45 because of walk in customers, then why appointment system is there!! Keep it as fish market and anyone can come and reserve. I dont recommend this clinic to anyone, disrespect
Dr. Rayyan Al Mulla is genuinely one of the best doctors I have ever met. She truly cares about her patients and always makes sure that the treatment she recommends is the right one for the right reason. Her professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail are exceptional. What makes her stand out even more is how kind and approachable she is. She doesn’t make you feel like just another patient. She makes you feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for, almost like talking to an older sister who genuinely wants the best for you. As a young athlete, I especially appreciate how much she cares about my health and future. She takes the time to give valuable advice, explain things clearly, and make sure I’m making the right decisions for my long-term well-being. I am very grateful for her support and guidance. I highly recommend Dr. Rayyan Al Mulla to anyone looking for a doctor who is not only highly skilled, but also truly compassionate and dedicated to her patients.
I had my treatment at mediclinic mirdiff .The nurses were extremely kind, professional, and attentive throughout my treatment. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for.throughout the entire process. Highly recommend .
Very poor experience from start to finish. I arrived on time, yet the doctor left and later claimed I was 20 minutes late — apparently due to the office failing to inform him I had checked in. The consultation itself was equally disappointing. The doctor seemed disengaged, more focused on rushing to surgery than properly assessing my condition. He even suggested I would need to agree to surgery just to get an MRI, which is completely unreasonable. I had to insist on basic diagnostics like an X-ray. To make matters worse, the admin staff issued my X-ray request under the wrong name — a serious error that could have mixed up medical records. Overall, highly unprofessional. I would strongly advise avoiding this place. I will go back to Mediclinic Parkview, where my original doctor was way better as well as the office team.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received today. What should have been a routine eye examination for my child was unnecessarily prolonged and I was ultimately charged for additional procedures that were neither requested nor clearly communicated in advance. It is concerning that what was presented as a standard check-up turned into an opportunity to inflate the bill without transparency. This experience has left me feeling misled and frustrated. I will be formally raising this matter with my health insurance provider.
im sharing my feeding regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your Uptown Mirdif branch, specifically at the reception/cashier area (Counter 4). After paying for my son’s appointment, the receptionist at Counter 4 (an Arabic lady wearing a hijab) behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Instead of handing me the receipt properly, she threw it onto the counter without any courtesy. Additionally, she was laughing loudly and chatting, which made the situation feel careless and inappropriate, especially in a healthcare environment. I was very close to addressing this behavior at the time, as I found it unacceptable. However, my priority was my son’s medical follow-up with the doctor, so I chose not to escalate the situation on the spot. I would like to be honest and say that if it were not for the doctor I trust at this branch, I would avoid visiting this location altogether. A clinic reception is the first point of contact, and such behavior leaves a very negative impression on patients and parents alike. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately, as professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy are essential in a medical setting.
Dr. Sandhya in Mirdif branch is my savior since 2009. She is very kind, caring and knowledgeable who works with passion. When a doctor have long terms patients that confirms the quality service.
Mirdiff Uptown Mediclinic, Dr Sandhya Ranu Dhas, best Gynaecologist in Mediclinic. Dr Sandhya is my doctor since 2010, very friendly, caring and understanding. She listens carefully to patient concerns and ensures following up and updating her patient. Thank you Dr Sandhya for your attentiveness and kindness.
The staff at the clinic is good and courteous, but unfortunately, the clinic itself is not being well maintained. It seems that the management is not focusing on patient satisfaction. Despite having an appointment and arriving on time, the waiting time often exceeds an hour. Additionally, necessary medicines and supplies are not always available for the doctors to carry out routine procedures. Overall, it feels like the branch is struggling and may soon face closure if things don’t improve.
