Dr. Pohler was amazing! I’ve never been to a dentist, doctor, etc that was as professional, courteous, and honest. Explanations were spot on when it came time for issue, solutions, etc. Finally found my dentist I will be going back to time and time again!

This was a difficult procedure - an implant - that I had not experienced before. I had no idea what to expect, but there was significant discomfort during the procedure. Perhaps I should have expected this, but I had no experience with it. Lots of pain post-procedure through the end of the first day. But ... I woke up the next day with NO pain and NO complications. So, I have stopped whining and have nothing but compliments for the team at Mesa Valley Modern Dentistry for a successful procedure.

I was a patient for several years, so I don’t write this review lightly at all. Every time I came for a cleaning I would have to insist that I did not want their “laser” - which, by the way, is how they get extra money from you on top of the exam that your insurance covers, but they absolutely would pretend it was my copay. I kept going because I liked their office and my cleanings went well. However, this last time was my breaking point. I was pushed by a *receptionist* - VERY heavily sales pushed - toward an expensive porcelain crown, for a rear molar, when I am a teeth grinder. I knew immediately that a metal crown was the right choice (not to mention much cheaper), and she refused to discuss it with me or give me the information. As a reminder, this is the receptionist, NOT a dentist. I went down the rabbit hole and found that this practice is owned by a large conglomerate that has tons of locations around the valley, and they all have the same website - and strategy - they are all pushing the laser and CEREC crowns. They take DMO plans and prey on people who don’t know better. I do know better, so I’m posting this as a warning. Go somewhere else.

This place is awesome all the staff were fantastic and so friendly I felt comfortable and treated like I was top priority! My visit It was quick and easy the whole staff at this location were very professional I will be coming back and refer my friends ! Dr Huynh went over everything with me and answered my questions and concerns did a quality exam to my fullest satisfaction I was very happy With him! Sabrina was my hygienist that day she was sweet and friendly made me feel great she’s a doll I personally asked if I can be on her schedule for my follow up visit. Jaimee in the front desk is an rockstar and very friendly she was detailed on the services and insurance information to get me on my way! I felt so comfortable with her! My X-rays went perfectly smooth naydaline was so sweet and awesome very friendly and made every attempt to make sure I was getting the best care and if I felt great or not she handled everything with a smile and a good vibe!

It’s been a long time since I got dental work done, but I’m glad I chose Mesa Valley. I’ve been here three times and the staff are always friendly and assuring. Thank you to everyone. Front desk staff, Jaymee, makes you feel welcomed every visit. Sarahi did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. I appreciate her tips/recommendation in improving my oral routine. Lupe was very nice and attentive. Chelsea, who did my x-ray, made me feel less anxious about my visit. She was amazing in assisting Dr. Huynh. Lastly, Dr. Huynh is an excellent dentist. He explained my results and treatment plan in a digestible manner. I appreciate how considerate and respectful each staff member is with my health. 😊

Friendly staff and clean office environment. I've seen Dr Huynh twice now, and both times I feel like he was thorough, attentive, and personable. He took time to fully answer any questions I had and explain my treatment plan to me. I recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care

I had such a wonderful experience at Mesa Valley Modern Dentistry. I hadn’t been to the dentist in quite a while, so I was honestly really nervous walking in, especially knowing I probably needed a lot of dental work. Dr. Huynh immediately put me at ease. He took the time to explain everything that was going on with my teeth, walked me through all of my treatment options, answered every question I had, and even cracked a few jokes along the way. His kindness and sense of humor made a situation I was dreading so much less intimidating. I also want to give a huge thank you to Delaney at the front desk. She was incredibly patient and helpful when going over my treatment plan and financial options. She stayed late to answer all of my questions and make sure everything was scheduled, and I never once felt rushed. She truly went above and beyond. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about making me feel comfortable. If you’ve been putting off going to the dentist because you’re anxious like I was, I can’t recommend Mesa Valley Modern Dentistry enough. They made what I expected to be a stressful experience a really positive one, and I’m actually looking forward to getting my dental health back on track.

I didn’t even have an appointment here — I showed up by accident. A Waymo mix-up and a scheduling brain fog landed me at the wrong dentist on a 105°F day, completely flustered and unsure what to do next. What happened next genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Instead of politely (and rightfully) turning me away, the woman at the front desk welcomed me like I was their patient. She offered me water, told me to sit and cool down, and said I was welcome to wait until my ride came back to take me to the right place. No eye rolls. No hesitation. Just pure, effortless kindness. I never even sat in the dental chair — and yet I left more impressed than I have been by any business in recent memory. That front desk team member working at 1:50 PM on June 19th, 2026 deserves every recognition this office can give her. She is the gold standard of hospitality, and other businesses — dental or otherwise — should be taking notes. They couldn’t fit me in today, but they’ve absolutely earned my business going forward. This is what a world-class experience looks like, and it started with simply treating a confused stranger with dignity and warmth. 10/10 — and I didn’t even get my teeth cleaned. 😄

Haven’t been to the dentist for years. I was so scared of being treated badly for having bad oral health. But this staff and Dr. Huynh have been nothing but professional, kind, and respectful to me. They didn’t make me feel bad about anything. They’re very clear and upfront about everything. They treated my emergency visit so well and quickly. They have me as a patient for life and I will definitely refer others to here.

Sabrina did an amazing job cleaning my teeth! It had been over 6 months since my last cleaning so there was some build-up, but she handled it like a pro and it was quick & painless! 10/10 recommend her as your RDH.

This is, by far, the most welcoming dental staff I have interacted with. They are all just super nice while also being professionally capable. My dentist is Dr. Plunkett, and he is the best! He takes time to have candid, non-judgmental conversations about necessary dental care, and treats you with gentleness, care and respect. To top it off, he also takes time to just chat in general.
