About Midland Kid's Dentist

Midland Kid's Dentist sits in Midkiff Plaza on North Midkiff Road, built around treating children and adults in the same practice so you're not splitting your family across two offices. That matters if your own dental work and your child's routine visit can be booked the same afternoon instead of two separate trips across town. The name points to where the practice started, but the service list covers grown-up dental needs too -- from fillings to root canals -- so the office still makes sense once your kids get older or you need work done yourself.

The service list covers day-to-day care -- cleanings, fillings, and extractions -- alongside more involved work: a crown (a cap that rebuilds a cracked or worn-down tooth), a bridge (a false tooth anchored to the teeth on either side of a gap), or a root canal, which clears infected tissue from inside a tooth so it can be saved rather than pulled. Gum disease and tooth decay are treated before they progress, and teeth whitening or other cosmetic dentistry covers work that's about how your smile looks rather than pain. Emergency dentistry is listed for pain that can't wait for a scheduled slot, and affordable dental care keeps cost part of the conversation.

If you're managing appointments for more than one person in your household -- a child's cleaning, your own crown -- having pediatric and adult care under one plaza address cuts the logistics down to a single stop.

What a visit costs depends on what's actually needed -- a routine cleaning is a different appointment than a crown or a root canal, and the front desk at Midkiff Plaza can walk you through that once they know what's going on. What stands out about this North Midkiff Road address is less about any single service and more about not having to re-explain your family's dental history to a second office when your kid ages into needing a filling the same year you need a bridge. For a household that would rather keep one chart, one waiting room, and one phone number for everyone's teeth, that's the practical case here.

Midland Kid's Dentist, in Midkiff Plaza on North Midkiff Road in Midland, Texas, treats both children and adults -- cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, whitening, and emergencies -- for families who'd rather use one dental office for everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Midland Kid's Dentist located in Midland?
Midland Kid's Dentist is on North Midkiff Road in the Midkiff Plaza area of Midland, Texas (79705).
What days is Midland Kid's Dentist open?
Midland Kid's Dentist is open Monday through Friday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Midland Kid's Dentist offer?
Listed services at Midland Kid's Dentist include Cosmetic Dentistry, Root Canal Treatment, Emergency Dentistry, Dental Crowns and Dental Bridges. The full list is shown on this page.
How long do whitening results last?
Typically somewhere between several months and a couple of years. The main variable is what you drink — coffee, tea, and red wine re-stain enamel steadily, and smoking speeds it up considerably.
How can I help my child feel less nervous about the dentist?
Keeping the language neutral helps — avoid words like pain or needle, even reassuringly — as does booking a simple, quick first visit so the experience is uneventful. Familiarity does more than persuasion for most anxious children.
At what age should a child first see a dentist?
Guidance generally points to the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are mostly about getting a child comfortable in the chair and catching problems while they are still small, rather than about treatment.

We have been coming here a couple of years now and love it. Never any issues. All staff are friendly and helpful. Davion at the front desk is so sweet. Felicity was great at calming my son down and giving expectations. Bri brought good vibes and positive energy which helped with my son’s overall experience! We will be back soon.

Taking my child to the dentist can be stressful, but this clinic made it a truly positive experience. The staff were warm, patient, and knew exactly how to make children feel comfortable. The waiting area was cheerful and kid-friendly, which helped ease my child’s nerves. The pediatric dentist was outstanding—gentle, kind, and explained everything in a way my child could understand. They used fun language and encouragement, turning what could have been a scary appointment into something enjoyable. My child left smiling, proud of their “brave visit,” and already looking forward to the next check-up. I highly recommend this clinic to any parent seeking compassionate, professional, and child-centered dental care. I’ve always been nervous about dental visits, but this experience was different. The dentist took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable at every step. What really stood out was the genuine care — I never felt rushed, and they treated me like a person, not just a patient. Walking out, I not only had my dental issue resolved but also felt confident about maintaining my oral health. It’s rare to find a clinic that combines professionalism with such personal attention, and I’m glad I did.

My son had some dental work done this morning and was nervous being his first time. The dentist and helper Bree was so nice and patient. They helped my son feel comfortable, explained how it would go and were very patient and professional. Great experience!

I was very pleased with the service I got as a new patient just as well as mom bringing any kid to the dentist. The dentist was very hands on and extremely kid friendly especially with making him laugh and stay calm. He left feeling confident and happy. I have booked again to continue getting work done there. I’m glad she acquainted herself with him with smiles and jokes before the procedure and he also gave him a popsicle minutes after. They are both very caring!
