As Always I had a great experience during my visit at Midtown Dental. Everyone is friendly and they always give Great customer service. Dr Shaw is new to the office and she was very professional and I love her attention to detail! The staff is very helpful when discussing my dental needs or future options for optimal dental health. I highly recommend this office.

I walked in with so much anxiety but a horrible tooth pain the front office staff was able to get me in very quickly and the entire team from my X-rays to the 3d scans made sure I was super comfortable and was very careful around the area that was in pain & the doctor was so sweet I’ve never felt more cared for in a dentist office I found the office that will take care of all my dental needs going forward!

Great care. New provider very welcoming and explained everything well

I’d visited this clinic previously, so I wasn’t a new patient and scheduled a routine teeth cleaning online. Leading up to my appointment, I received multiple emails and texts confirming my appointment including a morning email 2 hours prior to the appointment as shown in photos. I arrived on time, was not greeted by anybody and sat in the waiting room for 45 min past my appointment before finally becoming impatient enough to ask when I would be called. At that point the person at the counter couldn’t find my name on schedule. She then asked if I confirmed the appointment. I found it a confusing question as you can see the emails and texts never asked for me to respond and is clearly a reminder. She then communicated because I didn’t respond to said messages, they removed me from the schedule, yet they didn’t bother to text or email me that info. She then spent 5 min trying to gaslight me into believing the 2 hours of my day wasted between commute and wait time was my fault. This place is easily some of the worst service and communication I have experienced, even in a healthcare setting. I won’t be returning and would recommend nobody else does either.

I’ve had some pretty traumatic experiences with my teeth over the past few months and Dr. V and her assistant were so kind and patient with me, taking extra measures to ease my anxiety and to make sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Midtown Dental has exceeded my expectations and I’m happy to have chosen them for resuming my dental health. Thank you Dr. V!

The woman at the front desk is highly capable and gracious. My dentist was very thorough and seemed knowledgeable. I am quite happy with my experience.

I’ve been to this office twice. The first visit was very pleasant, with a friendly staff and a smooth appointment. The second visit was very different. I was offered a procedure that I assumed would be covered by insurance. It wasn’t, and instead of helping me work it out, the office sent the balance to collections. Before the deadline, I called three separate times to try to resolve it. The third time, someone picked up to say everyone was out of office at 1:30p on a Thursday. By the time I finally spoke with someone from billing, I felt brushed off. Tina, in particular, was unsympathetic and unwilling to consider my perspective. It is frustrating that a loyal, on-time payer would be treated this way over such a small amount. The clinical staff were kind during the appointment, but the billing and follow-up left me feeling misled and dismissed. I cannot recommend this office.

First time visiting this office and I had a wonderful experience! Thank you to the doctor and her team for being so kind and thorough from start to end of the visit. I felt very heard by both the doctor and the hygienist, and I could tell they really cared about hearing my concerns to address them. My husband is a patient and had referred me, so I’m glad to have a new dentist in Austin. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an honest practice that will only tell you what you absolutely need. Thank you to front desk staff as well, she was exceptionally kind!
