My jaw was very swollen from an infected molar. I didn't fully appreciate my dire situation and went to my dentist of years. Thoughtfully; my dentist soon brought me in the same building to Dr. Kobakov Office. Dr. Kobakov with care thoroughly informed; I needed emergency oral surgery to remedy the infection. Surgery went well, and his aftercare including his calls made a successful outcome.
Dr. Kobakov helped me a ton with a serious gum infection. Not only was he probably the most attentive physician I have ever been to, but definitely one of the most knowledgeable ones. I highly recommend Dr. Kobakov to anyone that is looking for a doctor of his specialty. I hope I never have to use him again but if I did he would be my choice.
I was referred to Dr. Kobakov by Dr. Jack L. Gish & Associates of Farmington Valley to have my three wisdom teeth extracted. During my pre-operation visit, I explained to the enthusiastic and helpful staff that I was in a bit of a rush, and they quickly and efficiently got me X-Ray'd and in a room with Dr. Kobakov in minutes. Here, Dr. Kobakov was able to quickly, concisely, and professionally explain to me exactly what was going on in my mouth. Not only that, he explained to me exactly how he would extract each tooth and the pros/cons of the different types of sedation for my procedure. After the procedure, I was provided with all of the instructions and necessary materials to care for myself over the next few days. Later that evening, Dr. Kobakov took the time to give me a call and ask how I was feeling long after the practice had closed. He inquired about my condition and gave me further instructions so that I could be as comfortable and healthy as possible. Not only did he call and ask how I was doing once, but TWICE in the evening of the day of my surgery. Dr. Kobakov continually remained in contact with me and met with me twice over the coming week, even scheduling me into his lunch break on a day that his schedule was packed. My experience with Dr. Kobakov and the staff at Central Connecticut Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery was not only the best dental experience that I have had, but the best experience that I've had with any healthcare professional. I look forward to recommending anyone I can to Dr. Kobakov.
