My hygienus is the best.
The staff at Modern Periodontics is wonderful! They are patient and kind with my special needs daughter, and even make the visits fun for her! I highly recommend them to anyone needing care.
Awesome
Staff was friendly and courteous. Love the plan my periodontist came up with and am looking forward to returning to get my treatment started. Highly recommend Modern Periodontics!!!
The visit was great, everyone was polite and pleasant. Dr.Pasieta is fantastic, he explained everything in detail and his dental plan approach his outstanding. Definitely recommend Jacksonville residents to visit this location.
This is hands down the best andmost comfortable experience at a dentist that I have ever had.Doctor atkinson did a tremendous job on my procedure. The staff is wonderful, professional, and very knowledgeable about everything. They explain everything in detail and make sure that I understood everything. From check in to the dental hygienist to the dentist, everyone is pleasant. I wish they could be my main dentist office as well, here's to hoping
I must say that Dr Kuznia was amazing. She takes pride in her work and she ensured that I was comfortable.during and after my procedure. She cares that much she came into the office on a Sunday to take care of some stitches that could mess up her work. However, the front office and business staff. Don’t get me wrong none were rude. The problem I had was 1. They did not advise me that the were not in network with my insurance 2. Even though they wrote off a great amount of my out of pocket cost. If they had did what the insurance company ask about providing explanation of medical necessity some of that cost would have been covered. Yes my insurance would have covered the sedation only if the provider would have provided them information to support that it was a medical necessity. There is no way I would have been able to do that procedure without out it. 3. They do not call there patients back or answer the phone. I walked in and call the business office several times and I have still yet someone to call me back. Once I understood what my final bill was, I had to mail in my check they never called me back to secure payment over the phone. Also, I had a problem with my bill and I get a letter threatening that they will send my balance to a collection company. This was disgraceful to me even after I had made several attempts to take care of my bill. I would recommend Dr Kuznia for tissue grafting procedures but you have to stay on that front office staff to handle your bill and to ensure anything they will charge the insurance company is not automatic that the insurance will not cover it.
I wish 0 STARS was an option! We brought my mother-in-law here to have oral surgery, an appointment that she waited weeks for, only to be treated very disrespectfully by the staff because she doesn't speak but a small amount of English. Her son was here to translate and asked for a simple accommodation in her positioning due to her vertigo, only to have someone one come out and ask if she would even be able to follow simple commands during the procedure (not only uncompassionately, but rather rudely) and inform us, they don't speak Spanish and they only have 1 staff member that could aid in translation (we know family can not go in the procedural area). The woman was asked if they can use Google translate, to which she quickly and rather harshly replied "they don't have time for that! " I as a medical professional know that not all accommodations are feasible under every circumstance, but I feel like this office should be required to at least be kind about it. *Is it even legal for a dentist office to take hundreds of dollars from a Spanish speaking patient and offer no language services or provide culturally competent customer service?
