About MOSAIC - Maxillofacial Surgical Arts & Dental Implant Centers

MOSAIC - Maxillofacial Surgical Arts & Dental Implant Centers provides dental care on Race Track Road in Tampa, Florida. Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit. How long does it take to get used to new dentures?
Several weeks is typical, and speech and eating usually feel awkward at first. Sore spots in the early stage are common and are adjusted rather than endured — they are not something to put up with.
Can dentures be supported by implants?
Yes, and it is a common solution for a lower denture that will not stay put. Implants anchor the denture so it does not move while eating or speaking, which is the most frequent complaint about conventional lower dentures.
What causes bad breath and can a dentist help?
Persistent bad breath most often comes from bacteria on the tongue and around the gumline, and gum disease is a frequent underlying cause. Because it is usually oral in origin, a dental examination is a sensible first step.

I am grateful for the attention I received from all the staff, from the moment I entered the office. It is very gratifying to have the peace of mind of knowing that when undergoing a medical procedure, I can count on such a dedicated team. They are exceptional in their medical and technical skills, and generally possess excellent interpersonal skills. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dr. Landrian and his staff are wonderful. As soon as I walk in for my appointment, they are waiting and ready for me. Everyone at Mosaic are professional. Very well organized. I have been going to Dr. Landrian to have my implants done for the past year. Yesterday was my last appointment with him. If I ever need other work done I would go back. I would also refer friends and family to Mosaic. This office deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you Dr. Landrian and his staff.

Best surgery ever! When have you ever heard that ...? My nurse make me very comfortable ( blanket) and I do have IV phobia ... she put it without a pinch! I want her as my nurse for all my surgeries. Very little bleeding ... no pain ... it went so smooth, it didn't feel like I had surgery. Will definately be back.

The staff, surgeon and experience my son had was phenomenal. He was so nervous and Dr Young was so kind, patient and supportive. They calmed his nerves, made him comfortable and called several times post op to check on him. We were so impressed and highly recommend them! Thank you to the office for an amazing experience.

Amazing staff. They really put me at ease as I've had terrible experiences in my past and ended up with anxiety around dentists. Dr young was so very nice and understanding and didn't judge me at all. No one judged me for that matter. I love this office and I will be planning to go back to fix my top teeth as they really went down hill after having my son. Also my veins suck and while it was painful they really tried to be gentle putting in the iv. I honestly don't even falling asleep as the staff was entertaining me and making me laugh.

Dr Young and his team did an incredible job with our 6-year olds tooth extraction! The worst part of the procedure was waiting for the surgery date and my anxiety! The nurses handled my son like he was their own and Dr Young is SO awesome, caring and talented. The office is clean and everyone is very professional. Highly recommend this practice!!
