About Mountain Ridge Dental Care

Mountain Ridge Dental Care operates on Colorado 7 in Erie, Colorado. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Cosmetic dentistry covers treatment aimed primarily at appearance — whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping among the more common options — for patients who are less concerned with a problem that hurts than with how their smile looks day to day. The right combination depends on what specifically you would like to change.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window. I’ve been going to Mountain Ridge Dental for nearly a year now and I really like the doctor and staff there. I’ve gone there for regular cleanings and for crowns. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the doctor is professional, courteous, and kind, and the work is fantastic. I recommend Mountain Ridge without hesitation or qualification.

The facility was amazing with a lot of impressive tools for diagnostics. The woman who cleaned my teeth was the best I have ever worked with. She kept me reasonably calm and that says a lot since I'm terrified normally. The doctor was also very nice. Highly recommend Mountain Ridge Dental Care!

I had a really great experience a few months ago with this dental office. The hygienist was absolutely amazing and Dr. Daniel was great. I haven’t had the best experiences with the dentist in the past and when they learned that they were soooo incredibly patient and gentle. They took their time, explained everything as we went through it, and checked on me regularly. This is probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had. It’s a little far from where I live otherwise it would be my primary place. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful experience.

At the time of my visit, I had active insurance coverage that provided 100% coverage for preventive cleanings. While I was in the office, I was informed of optional services that were not covered by insurance, and I explicitly declined them to avoid any out-of-pocket expense. I left the office with a zero balance and no indication that any portion of the visit was unpaid or disputed. Several months later, I was notified that there was a balance due for that same cleaning. In my professional experience working with insurance claims, I understand the importance of confirming coverage and approvals prior to providing services. Had there been any indication that this cleaning would not be fully covered, I would have addressed it at the time of service. Sending this account to collections over a preventive service that should have been fully covered has resulted in a loss of trust and has already cost your practice my continued business, including twice-yearly cleanings and future dental work. For context, I also had a cavity filled at your office last year and paid my patient responsibility in full at that time for that service. I would advise anyone against doing business with Mountain Ridge Dental Care.

Jen, the dental assistant was incredibly friendly and proficient at the technical side of her job. Dr. McCullough was a caring good listener and very knowledgeable. I’m scheduled to go back to start on my treatment and I feel confident in what he diagnosed and treatment planned for my dental health. Very happy with my decision to go to this office!
