General and emergency dentistry in Brickell Miami FL 33130
Smyleee Rating
Good
Southwest 13th Street at 40, Suite 103, Brickell, Miami FL 33130, is a first-floor office in a professional building a short distance from the main Brickell avenue cluster. This address is shared with Camacho Norbert, DMD — another general dental practice also listed at 40 SW 13th Street in Brickell, suggesting a professional building at this address houses at least two dental practices in separate suites.
My Dentist in Miami provides general and emergency dentistry from Suite 103 at this Brickell address. The name "My Dentist in Miami" is built around patient ownership and personal relationship — "my dentist" signals the individual dental home rather than a clinic or group practice. In Brickell, where the patient base includes many newcomers to Miami and young professionals seeking to establish a healthcare provider relationship in a new city, a practice name that emphasizes belonging and personal relationship resonates with the experience of finding one's first Miami dentist.
Emergency dentistry extends the practice's availability to include acute presentations — toothaches, cracked teeth, lost fillings, abscesses, and other urgent situations that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment. Having both general and emergency dental capability under one provider means an established patient can bring urgent dental situations to the same practice rather than seeking emergency care at an unfamiliar clinic when pain strikes.
General dentistry covers the preventive and restorative scope: cleanings, X-rays, fillings, crowns, and the diagnostic examination that anchors long-term oral health management. In Brickell's population of working professionals, consistent preventive care and emergency access together create the complete dental care relationship that residents of this high-density urban neighborhood need.
For Brickell residents in ZIP 33130 seeking a general and emergency dental practice that communicates personal relationship and immediate availability, My Dentist in Miami at Suite 103, 40 SW 13th Street, provides that accessible option in this major Miami financial district neighborhood.

Called for an emergency appointment, the Dr answered my call while in a loud restaurant asking for a $250 deposit just to see me and treatment would be charged apart. Why advertise emergency availability if you are clearly not available. Stay away. I got seen late at night by a better and more professional dentist and less expensive.
I needed a crown reseated, dentist told me the law required him to also do a full oral exam that was in addition to the crown recementing fee. I checked witih the Florida dental board, and there is no law that requires the dentist to do an exam on a first visit. Florida Statute 466.024 deals with what a dentist can delegate to dental hygenists and dental assistants and does state that after 1 visit, an exam is required before the dental hygenist or dental assistant can do any additional work on that patient. This would have been my first visit, the statute does not require an exam for a crown recementing. I do give him positive credit for stating his fees before leading me to the dental chair.
Late Saturday tooth extraction for a broken tooth. Dr. Fonseca was professional and the extraction was painless. Highly recommend! I personally felt the price was reasonable for a Saturday night emergency and he shows you the price before he does any work. There is a non refundable emergency fee but I feel that the fee was reasonable for such last minute care. I highly recommend.
Amazing dentist! Thank you for taking care of my husband during an emergency after-hours extraction. He answered the phone and was able to see him within 30 minutes of me calling on a Saturday night. He was incredibly quick, efficient, gentle, and truly a blessing in a stressful moment. God bless his hands and the work he does. We’re so grateful for his kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help us so late in the evening. Highly recommend.
Advertises everywhere “emergency dentist” and “24/7”. Even has a link to pay a deposit. Called and answered immediately late at night. Asked how long I’ve been in pain and explained this evening. He said he’s not available until the next day. What? What was the correct answer to see a dentist? Just another Miami dentist that wants to advertise services they don’t offer. The pictures alone on the website should be telling enough. Stay away.
