I went here for a gum graft in 2024. I am still fighting with them about my balance. At the time of service, I was quoted $1,889 as my portion, and I paid that full amount promptly. I trusted that this represented my complete responsibility, especially since their own financial policy clearly states treatment plan fees will be honored for 180 days. Since then, I have received repeated bills over $1,000 and a threat of collections. I've contacted their billing department and sent a letter with no response. Unfortunately, periodontal clinics don't fall under the No Suprises Act. There are other legal measures I'm now going to have to take. What they are doing is at best unethical if not criminal. Judging by the other reviews and social media posts, this is a recurring theme here. During the procedure I was not even sedated the entire time. The only reason I went there was because of an extreme dental procedure anxiety. I would advise to not go here and if you do just plan that they aren't going to quote you correctly and will demand possibly over 1000 on top of what you've already paid. There is also a possibility you will be awake during the procedure.

I can’t sing their praises enough!!! I was so afraid of the dentist but had gotten to the point I had to have work done. Dr Will and his staff were All just amazing walking me thru what needed to be done, holding my hand and calming my nerves. I will be forever grateful to this Brentwood office and staff. Now I am every 3-4 months to get my teeth cleaned by Marci. She is amazing!! If you need periodontal work done. Go see Dr Will Akin and his amazing staff.

I was referred to Dr. Will Akin at the Nashville office by my regular dentist for an issue with an implant. Dr. Akin was very professional and also has a charming personality. Although Dr. Akin was not able to help me with my specific issue, he was generous with his time and expertise and referred me to another dentist. I would definitely recommend Dr. Akin.

Hands down the best in Nashville. Dr. West is incredible at what he does; and he does it with a smile and a great attitude.

Dr. Akin, Lisa, Pam, and the rest of the office staff were very warm and welcoming (even though I didn't confirm my last two appointments)! One small gripe, mostly because I'm lazy - I think it'd be helpful to receive an appointment confirmation text vs. an appointment confirmation call.

What an amazing experience! Dr. West removed 2 of my molars and add bone grafting. He made it a great experience from beginning to end. All the staff are so kind and gentle. Everything was explained before they started and make you feel comfortable. True patient care! I would recommend Dr. West to anyone who has teeth or gums issues.
