About Nashville Smiles

Out along Highway 100 in Bellevue, past the Warner Parks and well short of the Loveless Cafe turn, Nashville Smiles works the aesthetic and restorative end of general dentistry under Dr. Amanda Harrington. The range is wide for a single-dentist office: preventive cleanings, crowns and veneers, dentures and partials, implants including All-on-4 arches, Zoom whitening, emergency visits, and appliance therapy for snoring and sleep-disordered breathing. Sedation runs from nitrous oxide through conscious sedation to IV, which is what makes the longer restorative appointments tolerable for people who would otherwise have them split across months.

All-on-4 is the treatment most worth explaining plainly, because the name oversells the timeline. Four implants — sometimes six — are placed into an arch, with the rear pair angled forward to catch the denser bone in front of the sinus and the nerve canal, which is how the technique avoids grafting in many cases. A provisional bridge can often be fitted the same day, so you do not leave without teeth. What that provisional is not is the finished result: the implants need several months to fuse with bone before a definitive prosthesis is made, and the temporary is deliberately softer and less refined. Bone volume, gum health, smoking and grinding all affect whether a case holds, and CBCT imaging is taken up front precisely to find that out. Cost varies enormously by arch, by how many implants the case actually needs, and by the final material, so nobody can quote it honestly over the phone.

Practical notes. The office sits in a stretch of 37221 that is easy for Bellevue, West Meade and Belle Meade families and reasonable from the Harpeth River side of Williamson County; it is a long drive from East Nashville or Donelson. Appointments run Monday through Thursday only, from seven in the morning, with the office shut over the middle of the day and closing at four, so the schedule rewards people who can come first thing or straight after lunch and rules out Friday and weekend visits. There is a separate line for dental emergencies. Comfort is treated as part of the offering rather than an afterthought here: heated blankets and towels, headphones, televisions, and a coffee bar in the waiting room.

Dr. Amanda Harrington's Bellevue practice on Highway 100 covers preventive care, crowns and veneers, dentures, implants and All-on-4 arches, plus Zoom whitening, emergency visits and appliances for snoring. CBCT imaging and digital scans guide the implant planning, and sedation ranges from nitrous oxide to IV for patients who need long restorative work done in fewer sittings. Open Monday through Thursday, early morning to late afternoon, with a midday break.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Highway 100 location practical if I do not live in Bellevue?
The office sits at 8090 Highway 100, in the 37221 stretch of southwest Nashville past the Warner Parks. It is a short run from Bellevue, West Meade and Belle Meade, and manageable from the western edge of Williamson County. From East Nashville, Donelson or Hermitage it is a genuine cross-town drive, so weigh that against the fact that appointments are only offered Monday through Thursday.
How long does an All-on-4 case actually take from start to finish?
Expect months rather than a day. The implants are placed and a provisional bridge is usually fitted at that same visit, so you are not left without teeth, but the definitive prosthesis waits until the implants have integrated with bone. That commonly takes three to six months depending on healing and bone quality. Appointments during that window adjust the temporary and check integration, and rushing the final restoration puts the whole case at risk.
Will Zoom whitening lighten my crowns and veneers as well?
No. Peroxide gel works by penetrating enamel and dentin and breaking apart the pigment molecules trapped inside natural tooth structure. Porcelain, ceramic and composite contain no such pigment to break down, so crowns, veneers and tooth-coloured fillings stay exactly the shade they were made. If you plan to whiten and also replace visible restorations, whiten first, let the shade settle for a couple of weeks, then have the new work matched to it.

Always a great experience at Nashville Smiles primarily due to the beautiful and charming Hope who cleans my teeth.

I had my teeth cleaned today at Nashville Smiles. I switched to Nashville Smiles about three years ago and immediately wished I had been going there far longer. I find it an absolute privilege to have Dr. Harrington and her staff take care of my hygiene needs. Hope, my hygienist, is a wonderful hygienist to have cleaning my teeth. She is a true professional, wanting to make sure I’m always comfortable. She is so personable and has such a great sense of humor, I always leave there with a smile on my face. This is one doctors office I always enjoy going to. Just love these guys.

I had such a wonderful experience with Nashville Smiles. The entire team is kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I really appreciate that they take a conservative approach to care and do not push unnecessary treatment. They took the time to explain everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and truly seemed focused on what was best for me as the patient. I highly recommend Nashville Smiles to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful, and professional dental team.

The last dentist I went to found a "cavity" every time I went in for a cleaning. Not the case at Nashville Smiles; they did not try to upsell me on anything. Hope was incredibly friendly and did a great job. My experience was so great, I might actually floss my teeth on a daily basis this time around.

I had such a great experience here. I came in for a cleaning and a cavity filling, and the entire team made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. They were kind, patient, and most importantly, judgment-free which makes such a difference when going to the dentist. You can tell they truly care about their patients and take pride in their work. Going to the dentist is never exactly fun, but this place makes it as easy and stress-free as possible. I genuinely felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust.
