Patients considering this location are strongly advised to take several protective steps before and during treatment. Request a written, itemized treatment plan with costs for each recommended procedure before agreeing to anything. Ask your dentist to explain exactly what clinical findings support each proposed procedure, and obtain a second opinion if recommended treatment feels inconsistent with findings from prior care. Before any crown or prosthetic work is finalized, agree in writing on the shade, shape, and fit expectations—and confirm the process for addressing any restoration that does not meet those specifications after placement.

Pediatric dentistry covers the care a growing smile needs — first visits, cleanings, fluoride, sealants, and gentle cavity treatment for children.
Traditional braces use fixed brackets and wires to correct crowding, gaps, and bite problems across a wide range of cases.
Orthodontic care assesses how the teeth and bite are developing and guides each patient toward the treatment that best fits their goals.
Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners — a discreet alternative to braces for adults and teens.
Dental implants replace missing teeth with a post set in the jaw and topped with a custom crown, restoring chewing function and limiting bone loss.

I have been coming here for the last 5 years for my cleanings, and it has been great! Yinny is the best and has kept me cavity-free over that time! She not only does a great cleaning, but also gives me feedback and tips that I can use at home. Today was another great visit with Dr. Marwa, Yinny, and Lily. The office staff is also fantastic. They send reminders before appointments, process everyone efficiently, and keep the wait times low. If you don't like your current dentist's office, I highly recommend switching to this team, as I did 5 years ago.
They were going to make me pay $1000+ for a crown that I didn't need. That one star is only for the male dental assistant and the receptionist because they were super sweet and understanding towards me. I had an appt 12/16/25 because I had serious pain on my back left molar. The dentist lady literally took one tool and kept tapping my tooth for 2 minutes. I was wondering what she was doing. Then I mistakenly said, "is it cracked?" And right way she said, "ohh yea I see the crack." She tapped my tooth one more time and is like "okay I have to do a crown, but I don't know how much it would be and how deep the crack is." She billed me $1,000 and said my union only covers half...which is 100% FALSE because if you're in contract with the union, I'm not supposed to pay anything out of pocket! The next day I went to another dentist to get a second opinion. Thank goodness I did because they were 100% honest with me and DID NOT SEE A CRACK. They did many tests to validate it and even showed me my x-ray. My molars are sitting on my sinus veins and asked if I was sick the past couple days (which i was) and because I was sick, it made my tooth super sensitive. It's 2/19/26 and after feeling better from the sickness, my tooth has not been hurting. I also did not have to pay for anything out of pocket because of my union. National Dental is a total SCAM - didn't even bother looking closely at my x-ray and they were going to make me pay for a crown that I didn't need.
I tried to avoid leaving a negative review, but after two separate incidents, I feel it’s necessary. On January 12th, I had an 11:00 AM orthodontist appointment at the Upper East Side location. I traveled 1.5 hours from Brooklyn in the rain and arrived on time, only to be told by the front desk receptionist, Dominique, that the orthodontist would not be in until 2:00 PM. Manager Vanessa later acknowledged they had been aware for a few days, yet no one contacted me in advance. On February 2nd, I called to cancel my hygienist appointment while keeping my orthodontist appointment. Dominique informed me I would still be charged a $75 cancellation fee, even though I would still be coming in. After requesting to speak with Vanessa, I was told the fee would be waived, but she never came to the phone. I requested a callback from Vanessa to discuss the policy and the fee I was nearly charged, and one week later I still have not received it. Management and administrative staff need significant improvement in communication and customer service. Financial policies seem to be enforced quickly for patients, yet there is little accountability when the office makes scheduling errors. In my experience, the Upper East Side location feels more revenue-focused than patient-focused.
Have had great Dental experiences in the past but unfortunately this place ain’t one… they struck out 3 out of 3 times starting with a very rude Dr. Ganz. As an anxious patient he was very dismissive abrasive & didn’t inspire any confidence in me to have all the work ( more than what I wanted or could afford),but they insisted on it. Also disappointed that the office manager who seemed pleasant, informed me that Dr no longer works there,& in he walks in his usual rude manner! Being lied to does not inspire confidence in their work! Other unsavory experiences there also, but this is enough for anyone to wonder about the integrity of the work done there.
BEWARE! I wish I had read reviews before going here, there are so many great options for dentists in Manhattan but this location of national dental is truly horrible! I visited the UES location to get a new crown since I’ve had good experiences with the Chelsea location, and it was a huge mistake. Throughout the entire process I felt totally not taken care of, or attended to. My dentist hardly saw me and ordered the wrong sized crown that had to be redone, while I was waiting for my new crown, she put in the ill fitting one, which came out while I was drinking and I swallowed it. When I came in after the weekend to get a temporary put in, the dentist hardly saw me and I had to ask for the area to be cleaned (which it barely was). I was also not giving a protective cover during my X-ray and had to wait for almost 40 minutes at each follow up appointment. While Tiffany at the front desk and the clinical were very professional and kind, the other woman working at the front desk was very curt and unhelpful, and telling me my crown wasn’t ready and would take an additional week (when Tiffany had already called and told me it was?!) she also kept trying to charge me additional fees for the follow up appointments needed to fix the practice’s mistakes, even though I paid for the entire procedure in full at my first appointment and was told by the dentist that their mistakes were being fixed for free. It was very disappointing to feel that my care wasn’t handled more professionally, especially when things started to go wrong at the fault of the practice. My advice is to STAY AWAY!
