About New Dentistry

New Dentistry is located on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee, set along a major route through the city that keeps it within easy reach of the surrounding neighborhoods. The practice brings together routine general dentistry and cosmetic treatment, offering local patients a single place to look after both the health and the appearance of their teeth. General dentistry sits at the heart of the practice. Exams, cleanings, fillings and the steady preventative care that keeps minor issues from growing into larger ones make up the everyday work most patients rely on, and this dependable routine attention positions New Dentistry as a reliable local option for individuals and families along the Kingston Pike corridor. The practice also offers cosmetic and restorative care. Teeth whitening and veneers give patients accessible ways to brighten and reshape their smile, while dental implants provide a durable solution for replacing missing teeth and restoring both function and confidence. Because these treatments sit alongside the general care, a patient can move from a routine cleaning into cosmetic or restorative work without seeking out another office. Emergency dentistry rounds out the range of care. Dental emergencies seldom arrive at a convenient time, and a nearby practice able to respond quickly means patients aren't left scrambling when a sudden problem appears. For people across Knoxville, that combination of routine, cosmetic, restorative and emergency care makes New Dentistry a versatile choice. Whether the appointment is a standard check-up, a whitening or veneer consultation, an implant case or an urgent fix, the practice is equipped to handle the everyday dental needs that come up over the course of ordinary life in the area. Being set on Kingston Pike keeps the practice within easy reach of the surrounding neighborhoods, so fitting a visit into the day rarely means a long trip across town. That convenience helps patients stay on top of routine care, and because cosmetic and restorative options live in the same office, an interest in whitening or a longer-term plan for a missing tooth can be handled alongside regular appointments. For Knoxville residents wanting a single practice they can return to as their needs change, New Dentistry is set up to be that dependable, familiar option.

I had such a great experience at this dental office! They were able to squeeze me in as a new patient when I was having tooth pain, and I really appreciated how quickly they helped me. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, and I’m so thankful for the care I received. Highly recommend!

I am not the biggest fan of going to the dentist, but I felt truly at home at New Dentistry. I did not feel any pressure and the staff was one of the friendliest I have ever encountered. The office manager was amazingly transparent on any costs of additional treatments and left the decision completely up to me. No pressure. I am so happy I switched to New Dentistry and look forward to being a patient for a long time.

I don’t think people always realize how emotional going to the dentist can be—especially when you’ve had a lot of work done like I have. It’s not just expensive… it’s uncomfortable, it’s personal, and at times it can even feel embarrassing. I joke that I wish I had all the money I’ve got in my mouth back—but the truth is, who you trust with that kind of care matters more than anything. From the moment Dr. Luethke took over Dr. Barbee’s practice, I knew I was in good hands. He has one of the kindest, most genuine, and caring spirits you will ever come across—something that’s truly rare these days. They treat you with dignity, patience, and understanding—never making you feel judged, only cared for. The work they do is top-notch, but it’s the way they treat people that really sets them apart. I was there just last Friday and had the pleasure of meeting a new dental assistant, and she was incredibly kind and friendly. She made the whole experience even more comfortable, and that truly means a lot. I am beyond thankful to have found them. Truly the best of the best.

I have major anxiety issues around going to the dentist because of the people at New Dentistry that has changed. They are awesome and compassionate I love that I’m able to tell them my anxiety and they listen try to make it a better experience. It doesn’t matter if it’s the hygienist, doctor, or the receptionist ( shout out Misty) I never feel judged and I love that about them. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, this is the place for you if I could give them 20 stars I would this place has helped me get on top of my dental health.
