I had severe dental pain following a root canal earlier in the week, but my regular dentist office and endodontist (the ones which performed the root canal) were closed because of the holiday. I had never been to Northwest Austin Family Dentist, but I saw that they were open. They told me to immediately come in to be seen. They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. They treated me with such kindness, especially the dental assistant, who went above and beyond for me. They treated me as a long term patient even though it was my first time there. I would highly recommend this dental office!!

In the past; I have had so much trouble finding a trustworthy dentist in the Austin area. My insurance refered me to specialists in Temple, Round Rock, even New Braunfels. Before coming to NW FAMILY DENTAL in North Austin, the New Braunfels clinic with an inexperienced dentist created a fistula the size of a pencil! Even making an impression for dentures was very very difficult; however the advanced technology in this office made the difference! Also the dental hygienists who clean my teeth are some of the best I have found; and I began wearing retainers over 50 years ago! The biggest difference is how easy it is to communicate and work with Dr. Prasad herself! When the first impression did not meet my needs exactly; she advocated for a replacement also covered 100 percent by my insurance!

It’s was ok…… friendly people……. I wish the hygienist had an assistant though, because she did such a great job it’s just I felt like I had to hold the water suction and feel like the office should hire medical assistant for that so the hygienist can stay focus on only cleaning. The Dr was cool, just kinda talkative, but cool. Will I come back probably not.
