I've been a patient of Dr. Kogan for years, following him through I think 3 locations, and he's a great dentist. All of my visits have been efficient, relaxed, positive experiences. So chill! And all of the hygienists have been excellent. Hygienist Cailin, who I usually see, is exceptional - so gentle, thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. She's an absolute treasure. Thank you, Cailin and Dr. Kogan, for my smile!

So happy with how my teeth turned out after the cleaning! John took such good care of me and kept making sure I was okay and comfortable. He’s honestly the best hygienist! 🦷✨ Highly recommend!

Front tooth was cleared for a crown, went in in Wednesday, due to the way it was slathered on my front tooth I have not been biting down out of fear of it breaking. Called office today because it is completely loose. I am so frustrated and tired due to so much time I spend back forth with these people. I was told by two staff members that is the temp staying on one-two days is normal" It is not! Maybe if you weren't a Dentist... they each confirmed, yes "you can take it off and on" . Outrageous, flippant responses. My tooth is so sensitive and and Im trying for it to not have it fly out if my mouth. It was done on sesame Street maybe. So upset, went for a second opinion about another serious tooth/discrepancy at another dentist who then called here to question them and make sure I was getting the proper care... this practice has never done that. Never takes professional responsibility. The staff just says anything...

The dentist there is amazing. Loved Dr. Isaacs and the excellent advice she gave, always looking out for the patients best interest. The admins are horrific tho. They didn’t call me back when they said they would (happened x2) and have to push them to do their work

I had a very positive experience there last week. Hadn’t been for a cleaning in a while and alllllways get nervous in the chair, but dental hygienist Cailin ensured I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in the dentist chair. She was so friendly, put me completely at ease, gave me some tips on slight problem areas in my mouth, and was a total pro throughout. The dentist was great too - very thorough in his exam and answered some questions I had - but Cailin truly was wonderful!

Extremely unprofessional billing and incompetent management. I have been a patient here for years. They made a low-level administrative scheduling error by booking my routine cleaning(12/8/2025) under the 6-month insurance frequency limit without checking my records. Four months later (4/8/2026), they suddenly sent me a bill for a minor $14.85 discrepancy—with an immediate, aggressive threat to send me to collections within 24 hours if unpaid. As a Medicaid patient, I went back to my insurance and found out this was entirely a provider oversight. When I tried to resolve their mistake internally, management ghosted my multiple follow-up emails, failed to call back when promised, and held my routine dental preventive care hostage over a petty $14 error they caused. If you expect accurate scheduling, compliant billing practices, or basic respect for long-term clients, avoid NYC Dental Professionals. They are anything but professional.

I have been going to NYC Dental for a few years now, and let me assure you that this is hands down my favorite dentist office—in all of NYC. I will be coming here for life. As a native New Yorker, it’s so difficult to find the right office. From the front desk to the hygienists and doctors, I have had nothing but positive experiences. The office works hard and is punctual. Caitlin is the best hygienist I’ve ever had—I love her. She is always kind and welcoming and does amazing cleanings. Dr. Kogan and Dr. DeVito are just as amazing. I actually look forward to my cleanings at this office. I also plan to come here for other procedures. Take my word and schedule with this dentist for all your needs—I highly recommend them. They provide high level of care that comes with zero stress. Dr. Kogan and the NYC Dental Professionals are the real deal. Kind. Efficient. All with great results. I switched over to Dr. Kogan from another dental office. Here I was provided high level of care - all with ZERO stress. I had my first cleaning 2 weeks ago - the hygienist was amazing, the best cleaning I’ve had in years - and today I had a chipped tooth filled. Wow, Dr. Kogan perfectly matched the other top tooth. The dental assistant was kind and knowledgeable, and the front desk was very responsive. They clearly do whatever they can to make everyone’s day go by without a hitch - very efficient. No stress at all. Thank you everyone!!

don’t ever go to this place! this dentis is a thieve!!! i had a crown made, the temporary broke in the first 2 days, the second one after 4 days. i show up on a day when they were no trains, for a 12:30 appointment call the office at 12:10 telling them all trains are stopped, im in a cab and be there in 5 minutes. i get there at 12:33pm she says i need to reschedule. go up to the office all empty chairs, wait 2 hours the dentist refused to even talk to me. the total for my treatment is 5k and change from which i already paid $1500 and got nothing to show for but an exposed nerve of a molar.
