Dr. Ross Thompson is great. He is one of the only dentist I have gotten who actually made sure I was truly numb before doing a tooth extraction. I have always ended up in tears previously having tooth pulled but this was a first that I was fine. The office staff was very professional and friendly. They dentist assistant we awesome. All the ladies were good with the fact I had to have my youngest son with me and he had to sit in the lobby.
Dr. Thompson's office was great! They were easy to work with, have a great staff and lots of scheduling options. Nancy is always bright and cheery, Mary is one of the best dental hygienists that I've ever experienced. I had no pain or discomfort during the entire visit, she's also very informative. Dr. Thompson was very thorough and kept me informed as to what was needed and what they would be doing. No surprises, and really reasonable pricing.
I've been with Olathe Pointe & Dr. Thompson for about two years. I switched to him after my former dentist informed me I needed about $5,000 (after what insurance would pay) worth of work done. Dr. Thompson charged a fraction of that. He completed about 75% of what the other dentist had said needed done and the rest was absolutely unnecessary, the other dentist was completely scamming me. Dr. Thompson earned my respect based on that. I have remained a loyal patient because he and his staff are professional, friendly, informative and gentle. (And funny! It's like visiting friends while you get your teeth fixed.)
First time after 30 years at a another great Olathe dentist. The experience was terrific. The staff is awesome and everything was great. Thank you Olathe Pointe Dental.
Easy to get an appointment and wonderful to deal with. Dr Thompson never tries to get you to spend more money or get work done that is not needed (which happened at my prior dental office).
