Old Grammar School Dental Surgery - Best Dental Clinic in St. Ives is pleased to announce the phased return to practise from 8th June. We recently welcomed an announcement from our Chief Dental Officer to begin the phase of reopening our practice – news that we’ve been waiting for since we went into lockdown. It is however vital that we resume our services to patients in a safe and effective way and that we work within the current national guidelines which includes the fitting of Personal Protective Equipment. Whilst we continue to source the right protective equipment that keeps both staff and patients safe, we will phase our reopening. Clearly, there are many of you who are eager to be seen and we will endeavour to get to you all as soon as we can. The practice is currently offering our patients a triage service only for those patients who are in pain. If you should need this service, please email reception@togsdental.co.uk. Please do not attend the practice in person. Initially we will be prioritising those patients who have had or are still in severe pain - we have a list of patients who have contacted us to use the emergency triage service during the lockdown period and we will be contacting you shortly to discuss your current needs. Thereafter we will reschedule all examinations, hygiene and routine appointments – we have a record of all appointments that have been cancelled because of the lockdown. We will be in touch to arrange appointments, and we will ensure every patient is seen as soon as possible. Please note that all routine check-up appointments remain cancelled until further notice. If you have a dental emergency at evenings or weekends, please ring 111. If you have a severe dental emergency such as severe swelling, dental trauma or uncontrolled bleeding, access the services of A&E Addenbrooke’s Hospital immediately. We have been overwhelmed by your support during the lockdown period and ask that you bear with us that little bit longer, after which we hope to welcome you back into the practice.
