About Omni Dental Specialty

Omni Dental Specialty is a cosmetic and specialty dental practice on East Gonzales Road in the West Village neighborhood of north Oxnard. The office combines cosmetic dentistry — porcelain veneers, professional whitening, bonding repairs, and smile makeovers — with broader specialty work, which suits north Oxnard patients who want both their aesthetic case planning and any specialty referrals handled within one office rather than scattered across the metro. Most cosmetic cases come from the surrounding West Village and Riverpark residential and professional corridors.

Patients searching for veneers and whitening package in Oxnard, porcelain veneers cost in Oxnard, or dental bonding for chipped tooth in Oxnard can find a full cosmetic program here, with porcelain veneers, composite veneers, in-office whitening sessions, and dental bonding handled in-house, plus multi-visit smile makeover planning for patients pursuing a more substantial aesthetic change. The practice walks patients through porcelain-versus-composite trade-offs before settling on a treatment direction rather than pushing one direction as a starting position.

If you live in West Village, Riverpark, or near the East Gonzales Road corridor and want a cosmetic dentist with broader specialty backing rather than a generalist who refers cosmetic cases out, Omni is a sensible starting point.

Cost-wise, Omni Dental Specialty runs in the standard mid-to-upper range for a Ventura County cosmetic practice — porcelain veneer cases are quoted as multi-visit packages with material trade-offs walked through up front, and bonding or whitening visits are priced in the typical Oxnard cosmetic range. The specialty backing means complex cases that might otherwise require multiple referrals can stay within the practice. For north Oxnard patients comparing cosmetic dental options, this practice belongs on the shortlist of established West Village smile-design clinics. Cosmetic consultations typically run longer than routine cleaning visits since planning matters more than procedure time on most veneer cases, and the specialty backing means complex multi-discipline cases can stay within the practice rather than being scattered across multiple offices.

Omni Dental Specialty is a North Oxnard cosmetic and specialty dental practice on East Gonzales Road in West Village, offering veneers, whitening, bonding, and smile makeover treatments for area patients.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I needed to share how saddened I am by all the changes at this dental office. My husband and I have been patients here for close to six years, and we always enjoyed coming. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming, and we were always treated with kindness and respect. The dentist we had for all those years was a wonderful doctor. Crystal, the hygienist was simply the best. She always remembered us, took her time, and made sure we were comfortable. Really understood who we are as people. You don’t come across that very often anymore. When we came in for our most recent visit, it just didn’t feel like the same place. The dentist we knew is gone, Crystal is gone, and even the ladies at the front desk seem to have changed. The whole office feels different now, and not in a good way. It seems more focused on selling extra services than on taking care of people. The young lady who cleaned my teeth did her job, but she wasn’t nearly as gentle or friendly as Crystal. I left feeling disappointed instead of cared for. It truly breaks my heart because this office was such a blessing to us for so many years, and being so close to our home made it even more convenient. It’s hard to see such a nice place lose the warm, welcoming feeling it once had. If anyone knows where our former dentist and dear Crystal have gone, I would be so thankful if you could let me know. My husband and I would gladly follow them wherever they are practicing now.

Consultation I, which they quoted me a price for, and said I needed to have several teeth extracted. The specialist asked me why I was there. I was taken aback, but I told him I needed some broken teeth extracted. He said he'd operate if I wasn't informed. He told me to call the doctor. I waited 15 minutes, then grabbed my things, went to reception, and asked for copies of my x-rays. The nurse came out, and I told her I didn't feel comfortable being there. I apologized, but I'd better leave. It felt unprofessional; there was no communication between them, and the only thing that was clear was the price of the service, which they didn't provide. They are a disappointment.

I went in to get an implant, and even out a few of my teeth since they were uneven. However, I was told that the space made from my ortho for the implant was too small and because of this they could not place one. So they suggested a bridge and veneers after agreeing to this decision, and getting the work done the whole process was done way too fast which was a little concerning. When I did get the final veneers, before placing them I did mentioned that I thought they were too big, didn’t think they fit. However, I was told that they customized them to fit my face and my smile that that’s how they should look so I assumed they knew what they were doing. After 2-3 yrs of having them I had a some darkness underneath the veneers I thought maybe it was just old blood from the woe done when they cemented them. When I went back to mention that issue they asked if I was eating anything that could stain my teeth, in which I do not. They gave me two options to fix this, to either have them removed and file my original teeth down really small or to try whitening my teeth. However veneers once placed can not be whitened as they are customized to a certain color which cannot be changed once set. After trying to whiten them I went back to let them know nothing had changed and was told that there was nothing I could do. The Dr. made a comment that wether I went to his office or another office in Beverly Hills (High end) I would have gotten the same result. I was offended and left completely upset! I payed a huge amount of money for this. I now found a better place, still in the area I did not have to go to a “higher end” place. They were able to put in an implant with the same space I had before without any issues , they put in new veneers and now these veneers are a lot better no darkness underneath and fit my face so much better. The process did take a little longer however I was explained and always asked what I liked and did not like I have now spent a large amount of money because I had to fix their lousy work. Would not recommend for implants or veneers!

This is the first practice that doesn’t make me have a sleepless night before an appointment. The staff is super professional, friendly and helpful. Catch them on a day that they’re playing music that they choose and the environment is so WELCOMING. Dr. Davidson… just hope he knows that before he retires I need stainless steel teeth because I’m not going to another dentist ever. Dr. Davidson explains every procedure with clarity, he does frequent check ins during everything and he answers every question without judgement. I’m very thankful for this team, for their care and the attention to detail. Simply the best dental office around and I can truthfully say I’m looking forward to coming back at the end of the month. Appreciate everyone at OMNI. Rant over :)

I don’t normally leave bad reviews so it takes a lot to get here. I was pushed to buy a night guard for $1500 but it actually made things worse. I went to a more qualified dentist who customized a splint that actually works for $500. I think Omni started out well but it’s now all about money not about providing quality health care for patients. I’m annoyed now that I have this useless night guard that made symptoms worse that is so expensive and I’m still paying off and not using. It was so badly molded that the middle part protruded out forcing my mouth to open at night & drying out my mouth. I just trusted the dentist that this was how the night guard was ment to be & should cost this amount but it was not - overpriced & inefficient. Front desk staff also pushy & unfriendly.

I was treated in 2021 by Omni when I got a crown on my lower rear molar. Last week (2025) the entire top half of the crown completely broke off leaving the tooth exposed. I called and requested that they look at the crown to see what happened, and they said I had to pay $100 just to have the defective crown examined. They told me there's no warranty at all on their crowns, even if it broke 1 week later!! A quality crown that is done correctly should last 15-20 years. Why go to a dentist that doesn't stand behind their work? I do not recommend.
