Same-day crowns are the most visible piece of the setup. An optical scan replaces the impression tray, the restoration is milled on site, and it is seated in the same appointment, which removes both the temporary crown and the second numbing session. Comfort is handled in smaller ways too: nitrous oxide for patients who need help settling, and a rinseable topical anaesthetic that numbs the gums before a cleaning rather than after the scaling has already found the sore spots.

Aligners deserve a plainer explanation than they usually get. Invisalign moves teeth in small increments across a series of trays, each worn most of the day and swapped every week or two. Crowded teeth, gapped teeth, and bite discrepancies of mild to moderate degree are all squarely within its range. Severe skeletal discrepancies and some badly rotated teeth still do better with fixed braces or an orthodontic referral, and any aligner plan lives or dies on wear time that only you control.
