I want to give a big thank you to everyone at this oral surgery office. ❤️ I had been suffering from a wisdom tooth that was already broken and near to nerve for almost 3 years. I went to ECMC about three times, but I was told they were not able to remove it. I ended up living with the pain and the problem for a long time. This summer, while I was doing my internship, I saw the oral surgeon’s office on Transit Road and told myself that I would finally go there. The next day, I walked in, and I believe the doctor I first saw was Dr. Marguerite. She was so kind and welcoming, and everyone there was so nice. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. Yesterday, I finally had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Boyczuk and his assistant Katie. I honestly cannot thank you both enough. You have no idea what you did for me. After suffering with this tooth for almost three years, I finally feel relieved. Dr. Boyczuk, Katie, Dr. Marguerite, and everyone at the office—thank you so much for your kindness, patience, and care. We are truly lucky to have people like you in our community, especially for those of us who have struggled with dental problems. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️ I am so grateful I found your office.

Dr. Varer & the whole team has been great to work with as I navigated post wisdom teeth removal complications! They were always able to get me seen the same day when needed and were extremely helpful during the rough healing process I had!! Thank you for all you guys do

I had 4 teeth extracted (one wisdom tooth) 2 and 1/2 weeks ago by Dr Varer. I have severe dental anxiety and frankly I was TERRIFIED. I’ve had single teeth extractions but never more than one. I was literally shaking but as of today I’m healing well and she and the assistant did an amazing job! I was administered laughing gas which def helped. The procedure itself once it really started took maybe 15 mins for all 4 to come out. The price with Delta Dental was much cheaper than I anticipated. My dentist referred me here and I’m glad he did.

after reading these other reviews, i regret not asking for a different Dr to remove my wisdom teeth. im giving 1 stars just because ive had no issues with recovery. this will be lengthy…. the missing 4 stars is due to the process i had with Dr. William Boyczuk. i have always had hard times at the dentist with anxiety. i specifically called and made this VERY CLEAR! and decided to make my consultation with this place because they offered sedation during removal. from my initial consultation with Dr.Boyczuk, i explained that i wanted IV sedation because of my dental anxiety. being awake for an oral surgery was something that genuinely scared me. instead of feeling like my concerns were heard, i was repeatedly talked out of sedation. i was told i only had three wisdom teeth to remove, i had tolerated fillings before, that i’d be “out of it” afterward, and that sedation meant i would need someone to drive me home.(non of these reasons mattered to me). the conversation made me so overwhelmed that i cried during my consultation. to end the appointment, i specifically asked if i could decide the morning of surgery, that i wanted to be sedated they would…and i was told yes. looking back, i wish i had gone elsewhere after that appointment, but i didn’t. on the day of surgery, i came into my appointment and again requested sedation. instead of simply honoring the decision i had already discussed, there was another 20+ minutes of back-and-forth trying to convince me not to do it with Dr.Boyczuk himself, his assistant, EVEN the receptionist!!! eventually, i gave in because i was worn down, crying, and exhausted. i regret that decision. during the procedure, i cried on and off. i understand that i WAS numb and wasn’t feeling sharp pain, but i was completely AWARE of everything happening. i could hear my teeth cracking, feel the pressure and pulling, and was aware of the entire experience. nitrous oxide did not make me comfortable, i was not “tipsy” as he said i would feel. i was cold, anxious, and miserable throughout the procedure. my wishes and anxiety weren’t taken seriously. he said to me that “it was not as a big deal as i was making it be”….. as i was hyperventilating from crying.. when someone tells you they are terrified and want sedation, that decision should be respected rather than debated repeatedly. if you have significant dental anxiety or know that being awake during oral surgery would be distressing for you, i would encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the right office for your needs. my experience left me feeling unheard and unsafe, and it reinforced that in the future i will always advocate for myself when it comes to dentistry.

I had a tooth extraction and bone graft with Dr Au on tooth# 30 ( next to my molar.) I was awake during the procedure but felt no pain at all with the local anesthetic that had been administered. Got my requested antibiotic as well. Upon returning home I followed all the written instructions to a letter. Still no pain throughout recovery. Quite impressive! just had my two week checkup and while my jaw can be a little achey occasionally from all the pressure I am scheduled for the next step with him. Very professional and a wonderful outcome!

Dentist and office staff are very thorough and caring.

Everyone was so kind to my son who was anxious about getting his teeth pulled. They were communicative with me throughout the process also.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The staff was so kind and welcomed us immediately in their office. Dr. Brown is kind, knowledgeable and highly skilled. My 12 year old son was very nervous prior to his procedure, but Dr. Brown made him feel safe and taken care of. His procedure went awesome and I credit Dr. Brown for making a nerve wracking procedure seem like a walk in the park! I would recommend Dr. Brown to anyone looking for an oral surgeon. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Dr. Brown and team!!

My experience couldn't have gone better. Had two teeth removed and they were in and out. Very kind and friendly staff. Highly recommend!!!
