About Orlando Oral and Facial Surgery
Based on Lee Road in Winter Park, Florida, Orlando Oral and Facial Surgery is a dental practice serving the area. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.
Wisdom teeth are removed when they are impacted, repeatedly infected, decayed, or damaging the tooth in front, since they arrive last and often into a jaw with no room left. Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out — one that erupts cleanly and can be kept clean is often left alone.
Oral surgery covers procedures beyond routine treatment — surgical extractions including impacted wisdom teeth, implant placement, and bone grafting among the more common ones. The distinguishing feature is generally that tissue is opened and closed as part of the procedure, rather than treated at the surface.
Bone grafting rebuilds jaw bone that has shrunk after a tooth has been missing for a while, most often as preparation for a dental implant that needs sufficient volume to anchor into. Healing generally takes several months before further treatment can proceed.
Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.
Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts. There is no way to put 4.8 so I’ll leave it like that. I’m the nature afraid to go to the dentist even for cleaning session, All this sharpen tools give me crap but at Orlando Oral Facial and Surgery road. It feels different, I did threw up after i removed my first tooth, that was because of me. but the nurse give me everything I needed and take of myself. After removing 3 teeth 2 and a half hour ago. I feel normal until now, i hope nothing happen later and they threat me well. Well if I have to do a tooth surgery, that’s my place but I hope that day will never come for me. Dr. Aaron Campbell, DMD, no complaints🙌🏽
I came to Orlando Oral and Facial for the first time today. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and polite. Then I dealt with a woman who took my X-rays and got me prepared to hear what the doctor had to say. The doctor explained the oral surgery he would be performing and I thought he did an excellent job of explaining the work I need to get my mouth back to normal. I also let him know that I had gotten engaged and had to leave for Europe in two weeks to honeymoon with my future wife and he scheduled me for the work I need performed in just two days. The scheduler got me in quickly so I don’t miss my big day. Everyone in this office was courteous, polite, yet very professional in their duties. Thanks everyone, you all are the best and a life saviors for getting me in so quickly! I would definitely recommend this place. If you get treated half as well as I did, you will be a very happy patient! YOU ASK ARE THE BEST!!!!
What a nice group of people. They were super and made me feel comfortable and at ease.Dr Campbell was great and treated as a friend. He worked fast and removed the two teeth with little to no pain. If I ever need to have more teeth pulled, I want Dr Campbell and his staff to do the procedure.
Honestly, no one looks forward to getting teeth extracted. However, Dr. Campbell and his staff have made this the most seamless process possible. They are very responsive, friendly, and caring. I was very nervous to get my wisdom teeth removed. It was one of those things that I knew I needed to do, but put off for years. I’m now in day five of healing with no complications. Dr. Campbell and his staff have been responsive via phone call and text message. I hope to never have to get a tooth extracted again, but if so, I know who to call
I cannot recommend them enough! The entire team is welcoming and friendly. Jeni went above and beyond to ensure my insurance had everything they needed to cover my procedure and gave me options for self-payment in case insurance would not cover it. They got me in same-day for a consult, and I was scheduled for surgery two days later. I felt that I was in good hands with Dr. Campbell, my surgery went smoothly, and he even texted me later that night to check up on me and offer to answer any questions I had. An incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming office that I recommend for any dental surgery.
