I don’t recall how many years I have been going to Dr. Jmi Asam but I always have the best experiences. The staff is always open and friendly and the care I receive is always very professional. Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions solved my implant issues. Dr.Assan was recommended by Dr.Noz. I am so glad I made an appointment to visit with her. First I was impressed w/the local touches in the entry.The gentlemen she has at front desk are kind and friendly. Then the main event…Dr Assan and her chair assistant are so quick, and kind. She went the extra mile for me-.She contacted the periodontist that initiated the original implant BUT never completed the job- DR ASSAN has won my heart! Completed my implants. Dr. Jmi Asam, her husband Robin, her staff, and office were all amazing. Robin worked with my flights in and out of Molokai to help me find appointments, her office was state of the art, her staff that cared for my teeth explained what they were doing along the way, they were kind and skilled, and had all the little details down to a science - like applying chapstick to my lips before cleaning - which was such a relief! It seems like a tiny detail, but I had never experienced it before that and seemed exemplary of how they worked. Dr. Asam, in addition to being an phenomenal dentist, had a great balance of professionalism and local compassion - delivering news in a way I understood my options clearly and could make my own informed decision on my teeth. In addition, I know she has gone out of her way to take care of kūpuna on Molokai and I appreciate what that says about her character and the important role a great dentist can play in community like in Hawai’i.

Absolutely worth the trip from Kauai! My husband and I have been patients of Pacific Dental & Implant Solutions for about eight years now, and we can’t say enough great things about them. Every visit has been positive, professional, and full of genuine care. My husband has partials and I’ve come in for regular cleanings and a few fillings. They even replaced a filling that another dentist had done that was bothering me — and I haven’t had a single issue with it since!
