About Park Dental Cottage Grove

Based on 80th Street South in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Park Dental Cottage Grove is a dental practice serving the area. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns.

Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically. I’m very thankful and appreciative Park Dental. Heather is very welcoming and efficient as she checks you in. All the staff are Super and friendly. I finally had Dr. Patterson perform a procedure that I’ve been deliberating for sometime. It was so smooth and easy for me I wondered why didn’t I get this done sooner?? Highly recommend and again Thanks so much.Roxanne

I've had an excellent experience with Park Dental. The entire team is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about their patients. From the moment you walk in, you're made to feel comfortable, and the staff takes the time to explain everything clearly without making you feel rushed. The dentist and hygienists are knowledgeable, thorough, and focused on providing high-quality care. The office is clean, well-organized, and appointments are always on time. If you're looking for a dental office that combines professionalism with outstanding patient care, I highly recommend Park Dental.

I took my two children here and the entire experience was warm, welcoming, and gentle. Front desk was very welcoming, the dentist and assistants were friendly, gentle, and all around treated us well. Didn’t feel rushed out or anything after being there for a while with the two children. We had a few extractions for my 5 year old and fillings for my 10 year old. For the extent of the work that needed to be done, it was as gentle as you would expect a dentist to be with children. Very well done and we plan to return even having driven 1.5 hours to get to this location. I don’t trust my kids with just anyone, this is the location to start your littles if you’re close!

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time, and was nervous about trying out a new clinic. Everyone was so kind. My dental hygienist Katie H was so nice and easy to talk to. Dr. Patterson was very professional and polite. I am definitely returning on time for my next cleaning.

Loved this clinic. All staff were patient, informative and helped put me at ease. Easy to get an appointment with Dr. Patterson. He's a great listener and we worked together to develop a step-by-step plan for ongoing dental needs; now and in the future.

My autistic roommate went to this location and I couldn’t be happier with her reaction to the visit. With the current Google rating, she was very nervous about going. She had nothing but an amazing experience. She informed me that the receptionist was super nice and the other staff were very informative and comforting. Not only were they accommodating to her needs but also showed her every step of the process so she knew exactly what was going on. She called me with excitement after a dentist appointment… and she’s terrified of the dentist. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made my roommates experience. I couldn’t be happier. Phenomenal job!
