About Park Forest Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center

Oral surgery arrives as several line items rather than one number, and that catches people off guard. A dental implant is billed in parts: the surgical placement, the abutment, and the crown that a restorative dentist adds months later. A quote from a surgeon therefore covers the surgical half only. Bone grafting and sinus lifts are priced separately again, as is anesthesia, which is charged by time under rather than by the procedure performed. Some of it may fall under medical coverage instead of dental, particularly for jaw surgery, impacted teeth, and facial trauma. Ask which portion is going to which policy before treatment starts, because that answer changes what you owe more than any advertised discount will.

Park Forest Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center is a surgical practice rather than a general one. Dr. Haroon Ismaili handles dental implants, wisdom teeth, extractions, impacted canines, bone grafting, sinus lifts, ridge augmentation, orthognathic jaw surgery, facial trauma, and oral pathology including cancer screening. The first appointment is a consultation with 3D CT imaging. That scan shows bone height and volume, the position of the inferior alveolar nerve, and how close the sinus floor sits to a proposed implant site. It is the scan that determines whether grafting is required before anything can be placed, and it is worth asking to see on the screen yourself.

Sedation spans the full range: nitrous oxide for mild anxiety, IV sedation for longer surgical appointments, and general anesthesia where the case or the patient calls for it. Digital scanning with iTero replaces impression trays for surgical planning and for the handoff back to your restorative dentist, and laser techniques are used for soft-tissue work.

The office is at 2304 West Interstate 20, Suite 150, on the southwest side of Arlington with direct frontage access to I-20, which puts it within a reasonable drive of Kennedale, Mansfield, and south Fort Worth as well as Arlington itself. Hours run Monday through Thursday from eight to five, with Friday ending at three. Schedule sedation cases earlier in the week, when the recovery window before the weekend is longest and the office is easiest to reach if you have a question.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my medical plan or my dental plan pay for surgery here?
It depends on the procedure. Extractions and implant placement usually route through dental coverage, while jaw surgery, facial trauma, and some pathology cases are often medical claims. Anesthesia is frequently billed separately from the surgery itself and priced by time. Ask the office to identify which policy each line item is going to before you schedule, since that split affects your out-of-pocket total far more than the headline fee does.
What sedation options are available for a longer appointment?
The practice offers nitrous oxide for mild anxiety, intravenous sedation for longer surgical visits, and general anesthesia where the complexity of the case or the patient's medical picture calls for it. IV sedation and general anesthesia both require an escort home and a period of fasting beforehand. Discuss your medications and medical history at consultation, because they influence which option is appropriate and how the appointment is scheduled.
Why is a 3D CT scan taken before implant surgery?
A flat X-ray shows height but not width, and it cannot show exactly where nerves and sinuses sit. The 3D scan measures usable bone volume, locates the inferior alveolar nerve in the lower jaw, and shows how far the sinus floor drops in the upper jaw. Those measurements decide implant length and diameter, and whether a graft or a sinus lift has to happen first. Without them, placement is guesswork.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ismaili and the entire team during my appointment on June 5, 2026. I had a tooth extraction, bone grafting, and dental implant placement all done on the same day, and the entire process was handled with exceptional care and professionalism. From the very beginning, the staff took the time to explain every step of the procedure, financial side of it, making sure I knew exactly what to expect. They were kind, patient, and attentive throughout my entire visit, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for. A special thank you to Dr. Ismaili, who guided me throughout the surgery. He constantly reassured me, gave me confidence, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier. His skill, professionalism, and compassionate approach truly stood out. I recently returned for my follow-up appointment, and I'm happy to say everything is healing beautifully. I couldn't be more grateful for the outstanding care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Dr. Ismaili, and their wonderful team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

I had no idea what to expect but the doctor and staff were very informative and made me feel comfortable. The staff has been very friendly and great to deal with. Hopefully I never have to do an implant again but if I do I will definitely come back here.
