General and sedation dentistry in Little Havana Miami FL
Smyleee Rating
Very Good
Northwest 7th Street at 2143, Little Havana, Miami FL 33125, is in the heart of one of Miami's most iconic neighborhoods — the Cuban exile community that has defined the cultural character of western Miami since the 1960s. ZIP 33125 covers the Little Havana corridor north of Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street), and NW 7th Street at this address is on a commercial strip serving the dense residential neighborhoods of the neighborhood's working-class core.
Paya Dental & Associates at this Little Havana address is a separate location from the Paya Dental brand operating in Hialeah (Hialeah Dentist. Paya Dental at 2851 W 68th St, Hialeah FL 33018). The two practices share the "Paya Dental" brand name and represent the same clinical group operating in two distinct Miami-Dade communities — Little Havana to the east and western Hialeah to the northwest.
General dentistry and sedation dentistry are the core offerings at this Little Havana location. In a neighborhood where many patients have experienced dental anxiety, inconsistent prior dental care, or long gaps in their dental care history, sedation dentistry provides the bridge back to regular dental visits. Oral sedation or nitrous oxide can transform the experience for a patient who would otherwise avoid care, making it possible to complete necessary treatment that anxiety has deferred for years.
General dentistry covers the preventive and restorative scope: cleanings, fillings, crowns, X-rays, and the diagnostic examination that guides multi-year oral health management. The "& Associates" component of the practice name suggests a multi-practitioner setup — likely at least two clinical providers — that offers scheduling flexibility beyond a solo practitioner.
The NW 7th Street address in Little Havana is accessible by bus from multiple Miami-Dade Transit routes on the neighborhood's main corridors, as well as by car from the surrounding residential streets. For patients in Little Havana and ZIP 33125 seeking general and sedation dental care from the Paya Dental brand, this NW 7th Street location serves as the Little Havana community practice.

A very good experience at Paya Dental. The entire team was very friendly and professional. The service was prompt, the facilities are spotless, and they made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I 100% recommend this clinic for any dental treatment in Miami. Excellent service!
Thank you, Dr. Paya, for being so kind and for offering financing for all types of loans. Nancy is always so attentive.
Dr. Paya is so capable of doing the impossible. Thanks, I lost all my fear there, hahaha, the fright I had coming back from Cuba.
I recently visited Dr. Paya's clinic and was very pleased with the service. Dr. Paya's team treats you with kindness and professionalism. There's no dental clinic in Miami that surpasses Paya Dental!
Very helpful they guide you through the hole process give you the necessities and hundred percent guarantee
I scheduled an appointment for a regular basic cleaning as a new patient. I had my x-rays done and I was then told there was no time for the cleaning I had scheduled. Ok fine, I understood. We rescheduled. THEN they claimed they text and called me to confirm the second appointment for my regular cleaning. I received no call or text which left me with the impression that the appointment that was scheduled was still active. I show up on time for the second appointment to be told I didn’t confirm the appointment and the dentist/hygienist had left for the day, my appointment was for 3pm. I took time off work for both appointments to walk away with no regular cleaning. Apparently it’s incredibly difficult to get a regular cleaning at this place and the front desk attendants are incompetent, dishonest, and disorganized. Do not waste your time coming here. Read the other 1 star reviews of this place, they reveal the truth. A lot of fake positive reviews on here that mislead me and others in to thinking this place is a quality and organized dental office. Not the case. Stay away if you value your time and your teeth.
I’ve always been nervous about dental visits, but the team here made me feel completely at ease. They were very patient and gentle throughout the entire procedure. The office is modern and very clean. I’m so relieved to have found a place where I feel comfortable!
After asking for several budgets in the area, I decided on this clinic and I don't regret it. Honest prices, without trying to sell you unnecessary treatments. They offer you payment facilities and the quality of the materials is first class. Honesty and professionalism above all."
Excellent service at Paya Dental Office in Little Havana. Mirayda, Yanet, Aily, Gaby, Sary, Dr. Trujillo, and Dr. Paya are all friendly, professional, and very attentive. They truly care about their patients and create a welcoming environment. Thank you for such great care!
Incredible experience! From the moment you enter the door, the reception treatment is super friendly. I went for a cleaning and a filling, and I felt absolutely no pain. The doctor explained the whole process to me with a lot of patience, which gave me a lot of peace of mind because I'm usually nervous at the dentist. The facilities are modern and everything is impeccable. Without a doubt my trusted clinic from now on!"
I went in with a lot of pain and the dentist only said I have an infection and left the room . I was told to walk to another room and the insurance lady handed meaalip and told me to call my insurance myself and find an oral surgeon with better equipment. The dentist was short and seemed to have cared less that my pain was at a level 8-9. The ladies at reception were polite but the dentist has zero bedside manners.
