Perfect Dental – Somerville

Started going to My Dental recently. Really enjoyed the vibe of the office, it feels laid back while still being attentive. The doctor I’ve worked with is very enjoyable and professional. From a care perspective they appear very through and when developing a care plan they give you „everything and the kitchen sink” but are very straight forward as to what’s an immediate need (I.e. cavities) what can wait but is strongly recommended (i.e. wisdom teeth) and then what is optional and the pros/cons (I.e. alignment). One thing to note, I think they take longer than a normal dentist…seems mainly driven by extra attention to detail along with taking time to explain things to patients. I did not see this as a con as I felt the time was well utilized. I plan for more time than usual as I expect it to take longer.

I had my first visit here and I am extremely happy with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the girl at the front desk was so polite and welcoming. She immediately made me feel comfortable. The dental assistant was so kind and very informative. He explained everything clearly and even let me know right away that I may need Invisalign. He was so knowledgeable that I honestly thought he was the dentist at first. When the dentist came in and confirmed everything he had already explained, it really showed how professional and thorough their team is. I also appreciated how efficient the appointment was. At my previous dentist, a normal exam and cleaning would take an hour and a half or sometimes almost two hours. Everything here felt organized and smooth. They also pointed out that my previous root canal should have been crowned, which made me feel like they truly care about their patients’ dental health. Scheduling my future appointments was very easy as well. I usually hate going to the dentist, but everyone here was so kind and patient that it made the experience so much easier. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone who feels nervous about dental visits. They truly make you feel comfortable and taken care of

The dentist provides very poor service. She moves from patient to patient and keeps people waiting for hours. When my X-rays showed no cavities, she claimed I had one that needed a filling. I later went to another clinic for a second opinion and was told that no filling was necessary. Based on my experience, it felt like the focus was more on charging for additional procedures than on providing appropriate care. I would recommend being cautious and seeking a second opinion if something similar happens.

I am so pleasantly surprised with My Dental! They have a Kurig machine in the waiting area and I was so happy because I didn’t have time to stop at Dunks!! The staff is so friendly. Julie at the front desk was so sweet and made me feel relaxed as I was waiting. My dental assistant, Camila, was awesome and didn’t keep me waiting. Camila set everything up quickly and efficiently but she didn’t rush me and let me finish my coffee while chatting with me. This also helped me feel relaxed as the dentist makes me anxious. The ladies popped in a cute movie and the TV is up on the ceiling for convenience to the patients. How thoughtful!!! All my anxiety slipped away completely as I was super distracted by the movie!!! I absolutely love My Dental!!!

i had to go get about a dozen teeth filled. i have major dental anxiety which has made me have major cavities. this office is so kind and professional. their understanding and ability to work quickly made my experience as easy as it could be. having my cavities filled has improved the quality of my life tenfold. they even pulled one of my wisdom teeth and it was painless and quick. i had a really hard time the last visit and the doc was very busy that day. she still took the time to give me breaks and calm me down. i know i made her job harder that day but she made my comfort a priority. i can’t recommend enough! Also the reception staff are so friendly. shout out to Gabby

Love this place had some fillings done by de Shaw and she was great and explained everything she would be doing well and checked in with how I was doing throughout the procedure. The reception staff were very helpful with setting me up with follow ups and making sure im updated with info about my insurance and fees and all that stuff 10/10 would recommend and will be going back to them

Dr. Shah, Raysa and Chris were absolutely amazing. I was nervous about wisdom teeth removal but they made it so easy. No pain, no stress, and great care from start to finish. Highly recommend!
