This location serves the 87110 zip code along the Candelaria Rd NE corridor, a residential and commercial street in the central-to-northeast section of the city, accessible to patients from Midtown, Nob Hill, and surrounding northeast neighborhoods.
Perfect Teeth is a regional dental group with multiple locations across Albuquerque and the broader Southwest. The group practice structure is designed to offer consistent services with scheduling flexibility across locations.
Patients visiting a group dental practice for the first time should expect a comprehensive new-patient examination that includes a review of dental history and clinical assessment. Before agreeing to any recommended treatments beyond routine preventive care, patients are advised to ask for an itemized written estimate that details the procedures, materials, and full costs involved. Requesting this in writing before committing to a treatment plan is standard practice and helps avoid unexpected charges.

The availability of a group dental practice at this location gives patients in the surrounding neighborhoods — including the Menaul, Uptown, and Nob Hill areas — a convenient local option for general dental care without traveling to more distant parts of the city.
The Candelaria Rd NE location is accessible from major roads including San Mateo Blvd NE, Wyoming Blvd, and Carlisle Blvd NE, making the practice reachable from a broad section of central and northeast Albuquerque. Parking is available in the commercial area near the practice.

Kindest and most efficient dentist I've ever seen!
thanks to the team for taking care of me and my teeth!! -dano
The staff is very kind and pleasant. Dr. Bir is a gem! She’s very knowledgeable and very patient. Highly recommend! :)
Do not go to this dentist. They operate like a cheap car mechanic. They tried to sell us on multiple things our insurance wouldn't cover. Not just once, but badgered us repeatedly. In conclusion I got a filling that fell out 6 months later. At the time of the filling the dentist said "let's hurry up and do it's time for lunch" I can't remember her name but she was a short woman with a Hindu accent who apparently has Indian decent. She was rude when she realized I wasn't going to be giving her extra money. I am completely over car dealer dentistry. I'm going back to first choice dental.
After nearly two years as a patient, I finally decided to leave this dental practice. Unfortunately, throughout my time there, I often felt more like a source of revenue than a patient receiving individualized care. One of my biggest frustrations was that I never felt I had a clear understanding of the actual condition of my oral health. Early on, I underwent deep cleanings in all four quadrants, which I understood at the time. However, I was then placed on a schedule of periodontal maintenance cleanings every three months, costing approximately $250 per visit. Over time, these charges added up to well over $3,000. What ultimately raised concerns for me was overhearing a conversation at the front desk indicating that Medicaid-covered cleanings should be covered under my plan. When I contacted DentaQuest, I was told that based on the information available, the condition of my mouth did not appear to require the level of treatment I was receiving. When I asked about returning to standard cleanings, I was told that because I had already been diagnosed with periodontal disease, that was not an option. The issue is that I was never clearly informed that I had been diagnosed with periodontal disease. Looking back, I realize I spent years undergoing treatment without fully understanding why. During appointments, I often felt there was more focus on recommending additional services or products than on educating me about my oral health, home care, or treatment goals. Another experience that left me uncomfortable involved a filling. The dentist informed me that the cavity was shallow and that I would not need local anesthetic. Rather than discussing options or asking for my preference, the decision was made for me. As someone who struggles to advocate for myself in medical settings, I felt caught off guard and uneasy throughout the procedure. There was also a persistent cleanliness issue that never sat right with me: a dead cockroach visible inside a ceiling light fixture that remained there for the entire two years I attended the practice. It may seem minor, but having to stare at it during appointments certainly did not inspire confidence. Recently, I sought a second opinion from a new dentist. Fully expecting to hear the same diagnoses—significant bone loss, periodontal disease, and ongoing concerns—I was surprised by the assessment. I was told that while I have a few areas that need monitoring, my overall oral health is good. I was cavity-free, and the hygienist spent considerable time removing buildup and spurs from deeper pockets that they explained had likely accumulated over several years. That left me questioning the effectiveness of the periodontal maintenance treatments I had been paying for every three months. If these issues had been building up over such a long period, it is difficult not to wonder whether the treatment I was receiving was truly necessary or effective. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, misinformed, and financially burdened. Most importantly, I left feeling relieved to have found a provider who took the time to explain my oral health and answer my questions. I am grateful to finally have peace of mind and confidence in the care I am receiving.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Bir for several years, and as a very nervous patient, I can’t say enough about how kind and patient she is. She’s an excellent dentist—thorough, gentle, and always takes the time to explain everything so I feel comfortable. If you’re a scaredy‑cat at the dentist like me, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Bir. She truly makes a difference
Best dentist I’ve ever had! I’m usually afraid of the dentist but she makes me feel comfortable and I love her personality so much! Thank you thank you !
