Perio Artist – Beverly Hills Periodontics & Dental Implants

I wasn't planning to leave a review about my experience, but after being completely ghosted (except for receiving a text asking me to leave a review) I feel it's important to share what happened. I have severe dental anxiety, which I disclosed during my first appointment. The staff assured me that Dr. Raschkovsky and the office were experienced in working with anxious patients, and my initial visit went well. Unfortunately, my second appointment was a very different experience. I had a panic attack. To be clear, I was never aggressive or disrespectful - I cried and hyperventilated, which are symptoms of the anxiety I had already disclosed. Rather than responding with compassion, the doctor seemed to take my reaction personally. He told me I didn't seem happy to be there. I explained that I wasn't unhappy with him, I was simply terrified, and apologized if it came across otherwise. His response was unexpectedly cold. He said he couldn't work with someone who wasn't happy and left the room. His assistant, who was much kinder, told me the doctor wasn't willing to continue that day but assured me he would call by Friday to reschedule. That call never came. It's now been three weeks, and despite their promise to contact me, I've heard nothing. The only communication I've received was a text asking me to leave a review. I'm still shocked that a medical professional and their office would handle a patient this way. If you advertise that you're experienced with patients who have anxiety, you should expect that anxiety may sometimes manifest as a panic attack. Treating a patient with embarrassment or dismissal for experiencing the very condition they disclosed is deeply disappointing. If the doctor decided he no longer wanted to treat me, he could have communicated that directly. Instead, I was told I would be contacted to reschedule and was then ignored. That level of unprofessionalism has had real consequences. My insurance has already paid toward treatment at this office, counting against my annual maximum, yet my dental issue remains unresolved. I now have to start over with a new provider while having less insurance coverage available. I'm incredibly disappointed by how I was treated and cannot recommend this practice, especially to anyone seeking compassionate care for dental anxiety.

Met with the Periodontist last week and had my first cleaning today. The staff here is very welcoming. The Periodontist is very knowledgeable and the Dental Hygienist has the gentlest hands a patient could ask for.. I am very happy to have chosen this place for my dental needs.

This periodontist is the bomb! Everyone, from the receptionists to the nurses to the x-ray techs was kind and professional! Dr. Ricardo was thorough and patient as I had a lot of questions. He answered all of them with an extremely kind smile. I wish that I had gotten all of their names as I would thank each and every one of the staff members for their kindness. These days I value that so much. I would recommend this office to anyone with any issues requiring this specialty. Thank you so much!

This is the best dental office.You can go to. Their superior in every way, Dr. Ricardo is a genius. I had a 5% chance of my front tooth healing. And it did with the laser! Now that is a good dentist, not good outstanding.He is outstanding and so is his office!! Everyone in it is fabulous melinda husman

Let's face it. Nobody really likes going to the dentist. But since we must, I recommend Perio Artist. They came highly recommended from a friend who had lots of dental work done. I trust her. Now I've been going there for nearly 18 months. The people are friendly, and Dr R. is great. And it's the little things that make them a notch above, like spacing out appointments so you're not waiting long.

This office is outstanding in every way. You will not find a better dentist. Dr raschkovksy is a perfectionist who is as close to perfect as perfect can be. I totally trust this office and recommend it beyond words. His hygienist Tamar is out of this world fabulous as well. The receptionist Chloe is very helpful and thorough.
