About Philadelphia Dentists

Philadelphia Dentists provides dental care on South Broad Street in the Point Breeze area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Philadelphia Dental on South Broad Street! From the moment I walked in, everyone from the front desk staff to the doctor himself was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The entire staff made me feel comfortable, and the office was super clean and well maintained. Now, I absolutely HATE needles, so the thought of getting one in my mouth is crazy work 😂. Dr. Zad assured me that everything was going to be pretty chill, and he was 100% right. He made the entire process comfortable, easy, and way less stressful than I expected. I really appreciated how relaxed and confident he made me feel throughout the visit. Great staff, great doctor, clean office, and an overall excellent experience. I would definitely recommend Philadelphia Dental to anyone looking for a great dentist especially if you’re someone who gets nervous about dental work or needles like me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely a 5-star experience!

-EXCELLENT DENTAL CARE AND WONDERFUL STAFF! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️- I can see why my neighbor referred me to Dr. Lyle and this office. I absolutely love it here! Dr. Lyle does excellent work, and best of all, my dental procedures have been pain-free. She really listens to my concerns and addresses them right away. She also took the time to explain my dental needs and gave me different options for the work that needed to be done. She is not only excellent at what she does, but she is also very sweet and caring. I also want to recognize Kierstian, the office manager, who has been wonderful to work with regarding my payments. She is always helpful, understanding, and truly customer-service oriented. And Gabby, the receptionist, is fantastic! She took the time to explain my insurance coverage and clearly went over the costs involved with each service. She made sure I understood everything, which I really appreciated. Everyone in this office has been kind, professional, and helpful. I feel comfortable and well taken care of every time I come here. I highly recommend Dr. Lyle and her entire team. This is definitely a dental office worth considering. I love it here! ❤️

I was satisfied with the dental care I received from Dr. Khedr and nurses, they were professional and kind. I did have concerns about billing communication and an unexpected out-of-pocket cost, but the Regional Manager Ms. Kierstin responded to my concerns very swiftly and resolved the matter fairly. My advice to other patients: Double and triple check with the Front Desk for a clear itemized estimate and confirm your insurance coverage/patient responsibility before treatment and before you pay.

This was BY FAR the best dental care experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Lyle is the best dentist I have ever been to. I came in for my first appointment with some pain in a couple spots. After x-rays and a cleaning it turned out I had to get a couple fillings replaced and one adjusted. They were able to get that done all in the same visit. I was in and out in an hour. Dr. Lyle communicated very well and made me feel very comfortable. I trust her completely with my dental care. Candace was an excellent dental assistant that treated me very kindly as well. From the second, I walked in the office Kirsten at the front desk made me feel very welcome. She guided me through the paperwork process and made every step of my visit very clear for me. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dental practice, you can trust! Will be coming back.

I'm honestly confused about this place. They inform you that you need a procedure done, but when you ask them to run your insurance to see how much it'll cover they never answer. 5 phone calls gone unanswered. Interesting.

I will be doing my follow up appointments elsewhere. I confirmed my appointment yesterday, showed up and the appointment had been cancelled in their system. They said they could still see me. I waited an hour and a half for my appointment. The woman doing the X-rays kept missing and redoing them over and over, to the point that I had to stop her. They tried to sell me on a bunch of unnecessary treatments. Then the dentist himself did my cleaning. He was rushing like crazy and missed half of my mouth with the polishing and flouride. Not worth your money or your time! Also when I scheduled the appointment, their system charged my card the copay amount 4 times and they had to refund me. That should've been my sign to go somewhere else. But you live and learn.
