Precision Periodontics and Dental Implants

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! — My Experience with Precision Periodontics My dentist referred me to Precision Periodontics, and unfortunately, it was a decision I deeply regret. My initial visit was in January 2026, and here we are in October 2026, with my treatment still not completed. However, they made sure to collect a LARGE payment upfront! Throughout this experience, the communication and customer service have been extremely disappointing. Every time I called, I had to explain my entire situation all over again. I was repeatedly given the runaround, and the office rarely followed up with me. I even left a message for Kimmy, the office manager, requesting a return call, but she never called until I contacted the office again. My interactions with Tammy and Kimmy left me feeling that I could not trust the information I was being given. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through was unacceptable. After going around in circles with Kimmy, I finally told her that this arrangement was not working and requested the return of my substantial deposit. She informed me that she could only provide a partial refund because a mold of my teeth had been made. When I requested my mold and all my dental records, she asked when I would come to pick them up. I told her I would be there the following day. I drove an HOUR to the office and arrived at noon, as discussed. Kimmy called me into her office and then told me that no one was in the lab, so she could not give me my molds. She offered to provide only a partial refund instead. I ultimately accepted the refund she offered because I wanted to put this entire frustrating experience behind me. My question is: Why couldn't someone have called me BEFORE I made that hour-long drive to let me know my molds would not be available? That would have been the professional and considerate thing to do. That just tells you what type of people they are and the type business they run. I was also uncomfortable with what I considered inappropriate professional attire during my interaction with the office manager. Combined with everything else I experienced, it only added to my dissatisfaction with the office's overall professionalism. I have no personal complaint against Dr. Ryan Mendro, whom I found to be very nice and professional. However, I believe he needs to pay closer attention to how his office is being managed and how patients are being treated. A doctor's reputation is affected by the people who represent the practice. I told them that if these employees worked for me, their handling of this situation would have resulted in serious consequences a long time ago. Patients deserve better. When someone pays a substantial amount upfront for dental treatment, they deserve timely communication, honest answers, proper follow-up, and professional treatment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Precision Periodontics. I hope Dr. Mendro takes these concerns seriously before other patients go through a similar ordeal. Think carefully before choosing this office. This has been my personal experience, and I wish I had known what to expect before I started. After posting my initial review, Dr. Mendro personally called me to listen to my concerns and promised to look into the situation. He followed up with me shortly after to express his sincere apologies and share the proactive changes he is implementing in his office. Dr. Mendro is a fantastic doctor who genuinely cares about his patients, his business and values feedback. I appreciate his accountability and responsiveness, and I wish him and his practice all the best moving forward.

Going to get a dental cleaning isn't something one does for pleasure, but Melanie at Precision Periodontics does a very professional job of it, better than any other hygienist I've ever had. In addition, she's friendly and efficient, and makes the best interests of the client her top priority.

Mel was my hygienist and she was so gentle and thorough with my teeth cleaning. She made having my teeth cleaned a pleasant experience which is great. I would highly recommend Mel for your cleanings at Precision Periodoniics . All the staff are so very friendly and kind and that makes the “going to the dentist experience” so much easier. Money hungry and ridiculous. I was put on hold for long periods of time every time I asked a basic question. I had to keep calling and explain the same situation all over again every time. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this place has truly earned it. They lie. I had to wait days to get an answer about if they can help me or not. Imagine that. I need help with my implant (moved from out of state) and this is a dental implant office.🤣 What a joke. And even after they called my previous doctor to get my implant information to make sure they can help me, I still hear the same thing - "The consultation is $250 and it doesn’t include the quote for us to screw back your abutment." They expected me to pay $250 to look at me and say, "Yes, we can help you with your implant, because we do implants here."🤣 What a JOKE these people!!! ABSOLUTELY ridiculous; so cringe and money hungry. 🤮

Dr Roca and her staff were amazing - especially CJ. From the second I walked into the office for my consultation I felt welcomed by CJ’s bubbly personality. Dr Roca explained thoroughly all that needed to be done regarding my reason for visit…Tammy also was amazing helping me schedule and switch my appt last minute! Great staff and office who really cares about their patients, 10/10 for great communication!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mendro, and his entire support staff. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The office is clean, well organized, and welcoming. The setting always had a calming effect and always put my nerves at ease. Dr. Mendro always took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, and was honest about the percentage of success was and advised other options should the implant not take due to condition of my gum. He was straightforward that if the bone graft didn’t improve to a number % of potential success that he liked, he wouldn’t do it. He patiently answered my questions, and his expertise and attention to details left me comfortable enough to move forward with the treatment plan. His support staff deserves just as much praise. I HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone looking for an exceptional periodontal care. And a special THANKS to CJ the assistant (AGAIN every person I came in contact with was top notch) his smile lights up the exam room and his kindness has a way of calming the anxiety that so often comes with sitting in a dentist chair

I have gone to Dr. Mendro for my implant procedure, and he is tops. I had little discomfort throughout the procedure, and he followed up with me, even after his work was done and my dentist put the crowns in my mouth. My wait time has always been less than 10 minutes, and the office staff members are professional and friendly. Dr. Mendro is the best, and I told him that I brag about him to my friends.
