ProSmile Dental Implant Center

(this review was actually written by Carl Hardwick ) I was sent to ProSmile by referral on an emergency basis. I was very impressed with how nice the office was, and how professional and kind all the staff was. The Dentist was very professional, friendly and engaging. My wife and I met with the office manager to go over everything and she was also great. She made us feel very comfortable and explained everything.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. The customer service has been inconsistent and unreliable from the beginning. I had to call four separate times just to get my X-rays. Each time, I was told their “system was down” and that I would receive them by the end of the day, but I still did not receive them. After I left a negative rating, they suddenly contacted me and offered a $2,000 discount on a procedure they originally quoted me $4,000 for, while also questioning me about why I had given them a bad rating. That alone made me very uncomfortable and made me question how their pricing is determined. I again asked for my X-rays, and after previously being told the only issue was that their system was down, I was then told I would have to pay $200 to receive them. The constant changes in what I was being told, the difficulty obtaining my own records, and the drastic change in pricing after leaving a negative rating made the entire experience feel very unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not consider this office reliable or transparent, and I would recommend getting a second opinion and a clear breakdown of all costs before agreeing to treatment here.

I’m so glad that I came to Prosmile. Everyone I’ve come in contact with has been lovely and so nice and helpful. Dr. VELANGI took care of my extraction and bone graft so quickly and competently and I haven’t had any pain or swelling. thank you, Dr. VELANGI for your kindness… I really appreciated it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at ProSmile Implant Center. Dr. Velangi was amazing from start to finish. They were able to get me in for an appointment much sooner than I expected, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. My surgery went very well, and I especially want to recognize Christian, Dr. Velangi's assistant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate, and he made sure I felt informed and at ease throughout the entire experience. I truly appreciate the outstanding care I received from everyone at ProSmile Implant Center. I highly recommend them to anyone considering dental implants or oral surgery. I just moved here and found myself in need of assistance from some discomfort. From the moment I called I was greeted with I think her name was Kim and she sounded like a concerned friend and got me right in. Dr Mehta immediately determined my needs. Even after three weeks I came back in without hesitation he adjusted my bite with amazing care and professionalism. Coming from someone who completely dislikes the dentist it is a big deal for me to say that my experience with Dr Mehta and his office has been easy, comfortable and would trust them for the rest of my dental procedures and maintenance.

I need to give my sincere gratitude to the team at ProSmile. I had some extensive dental work done that’s required anesthesia, and everyone, (especially the assistant and anesthesiologist) was just wonderful. I felt completely taken care of. The practice is new for me, since I am fairly new to Arizona. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend it. Doctors and the rest of staff (who are all top-notch, knowledgeable, friendly and professional) provide outstanding services. This practice includes general dentistry , but specialization is in implants and cosmetic, so there is no need to spread your dental visits between specialists. This was essential to me - more convenient and less stressful. Thank you ProSmile, and I look forward to the next visit to complete my dental work, so I can finally get the Smile I’ve always wanted!

So I originally saw an ad for pro smile on instagram. I sent in my information and I got contacted by them and they wanted to know why I was wanting implants and why I was wanting to get this work done. I explained that I've been clean and sober for almost 10 years and I'm a recovery coach now. I'm very insecure about my smile but because I've lost all my top molars I also have trouble eating and it causes pain. The receptionist said "Dr. Mheta wants to help you since you're celebrating your 10 years!". As a single mom, I packed up my kids and my mom and drove 2 hours out there just to be there for less than 30 minutes and told that the procedure is going to cost $40,000. I don't know what I expected but because it is a family-owned practice and they own this practice they could definitely help if they wanted to. I don't expect special treatment and obviously they want business BUT there's a difference between that, and actually wanting to help someone. So they shouldn't say that because I think people will get the wrong idea like I did. The customer service is amazing the doctors are kind and all the staff are very kind and if you can afford it then definitely go here. If I had the money I definitely would. It's just unfortunate that I'm going to lose all my teeth and be left without a smile because I don't have 40 Grand. It's crazy. I'm going to go to Mexico instead because they have great dentists there and it's much much more affordable. I wish I never did the consultation in the first place because now I feel worse then I did before. But as for a business and customer service. They are great.

I went for an evaluation of a surgical procedure that could have been covered by Medicare at no cost to me or alternatively by my Dental insurance which is a cost-sharing program. The evaluation went fine but then after a long wait I was presented with a course of treatment that added up to $3200. I requested that they get a pre-authorization so it could be covered by Medicare medical and got the response "We don't do that." Why didn't they tell me that before wasting 2 1/2 hours of my time and theirs as well. Stupid... Also the surgical part of the treatment (why I was there in the first place) was less than $900. The rest was for other stuff. Dentist offices put car dealers to shame when it comes to packing on extra charges.

Our family has had an outstanding experience with both Dr. Mehta and Dr. Velangi. They have taken excellent care of my mom, including crowns, cosmetic dental work, and extractions. Dr. Mehta is an exceptional cosmetic dentist with incredible attention to detail. He is precise, thorough, and truly cares about achieving the best functional and aesthetic result. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure you feel comfortable and confident in the plan. Dr. Velangi is an excellent oral surgeon. He handled my mom’s extractions with great skill and professionalism, making what could have been stressful feel smooth and well-managed. He is calm, experienced, and very reassuring. The entire team is welcoming, organized, and professional. We are so grateful for the high-quality care they’ve provided and would highly recommend both doctors to anyone needing dental or surgical treatment.
