About Prosthodontics and Implant Therapy Tampa

Prosthodontics and Implant Therapy Tampa operates on West Waters Avenue in Tampa, Florida. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway. What days is Prosthodontics and Implant Therapy Tampa open?
Prosthodontics and Implant Therapy Tampa is open Monday through Friday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Prosthodontics and Implant Therapy Tampa offer?
Listed services at Prosthodontics and Implant Therapy Tampa include Dental Implants. The full list is shown on this page.
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
It comes down to having enough healthy bone to hold the implant and gums free of active disease. Smoking and uncontrolled diabetes both affect healing. An examination with imaging is what actually answers it.
How long does a dental implant take from start to finish?
Commonly several months, because the implant needs time to integrate with the jaw bone before the final crown is fitted. Timelines stretch if a bone graft is needed first, and some cases allow a temporary tooth in the meantime.
What happens during a routine dental examination?
The dentist checks the teeth for decay, examines the gums, looks at any existing fillings and crowns, and screens the soft tissues. X-rays are taken when there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth.

Dr. Iranmanesh and the clinicians at the office are the best in the industry. I’ve been visiting since I was a teenager and 20+ years later I reserve my dental appointments for when I’m in Tampa.

After many years of visiting different dentists, two years ago, I visited Prosthodontics & Implant Therapy. Their staff were courteous, professional, friendly, and the service was excellent. Dr. Iranmanesh has done major dental work for me since then. His work has been superior and flawless. I wish I would have started using their service much earlier.

Very friendly and helpful . They were able to find me a payment plan and the different options for my dental work. I thought I was going to do just one procedure and leave, but I'm planning to do more work in the future because it's affordable. I don't have dental insurance, but it all still works out. I'm very grateful for the work that was done. Now my teeth are feeling great.

Dental work is not something most people look forward to and I am one of those people! That being said, I wanted to take the time to write about how positive my experience was with Dr. Nika Iranmanesh. He is a very skilled prosthodontist and has excellent bedside manner. His support staff is welcoming and you do feel "at home" when you are in their care. I just had a crown on a tooth that had a few fillings that ended up failing, and he was able to perform both the temporary and permanent placement of the crown with incredible detail and the utmost comfort. Thank you for making the experience a great one.

I can’t be more grateful for Dr. Iranmanesh because over the weekend one of my teeth cracked, and my phone wasn’t working 100%, and he was able to get back to me by text, and he set up an appointment for me to come in Monday morning at 7:30 before everyone else! Dr. Iranmanesh is without a doubt, one of the finest dentists I’ve ever had, and he has a heart of gold and treats everyone like family!
