About Queens Road Dentistry

Queens Road Dentistry provides dental care on Queens Road in the Cherry area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.

Endodontic treatment concerns the nerve and pulp inside the tooth, most commonly through root canal treatment and retreatment of a previously treated tooth. Endodontists take on the more complex cases, including teeth with unusual root anatomy or a root canal that did not fully resolve.

Comprehensive care generally means a practice can handle most of a patient's dental needs in-house — preventive, restorative, and often minor cosmetic or surgical treatment — reducing how often patients are referred elsewhere for routine work.

A filling repairs a tooth after decay has been cleaned out, most often using tooth-coloured composite resin that is shaped and bonded to blend with the surrounding tooth. It is usually completed in a single appointment and is one of the most routine restorative procedures in dentistry.

Tooth Decay Treatment is also among the treatments offered here, and the practice can explain what it involves and whether it fits your situation at a consultation.

At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts. Professional, compassionate, and thorough! I highly recommend this dentist. They did a great job of adjusting poorly done fillings from another dentist.

I had put off going to the dentist for too long. My primary passed during the pandemic, and the few I went to in the meantime just tried to hock product to me to the tune of $500-$1000. I finally got a true slow season this summer at work and decided to get things back under control. First appointment was a consult at no charge with my insurance. They took pictures, X-rays, and discussed next steps. Doctor Norman was polite, down to business, and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about anything. He offered me a course of action, and I took it. The next two visits fixed most of my problems. He and his staff are gentle on touch, and kind. I feel like I can smile again. I’d recommend Doctor Norman and his team for anyone’s dental needs.

I found Queens Road Dentistry when I moved to Charlotte. I was looking for a small, independent office that valued their patients & felt like a member of the community and I found it! My appointments always start on time, I always see the same hygeinist & the only dentist (& owner), and they never try to upsell or find problems. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Queens Road Dentistry! It was my first visit and I came in for a 6 month check-up. Madison did a great job with the cleaning and identified several opportunities to improve oral health. I will definitely be back.

Overall the servIce was great!! I love this dentistry. Ive been with them for years. Dr Norman was awesome Please Note: My negative feedback is ONLY related to 2 specific tools used.. Since they had to take XRAYS with those hard plastics and imaging tools killed my mouth. And the teeth scanner was very obtrusive. My constructive feedback: Please inform your Dental Device Seller or Rep that they need to find or build more patient dental friendly devices!!!! (MUST DO!)

My experience was wonderful and my technician was knowledgeable beyond words. She had a lot to deal with in my case as I havent been to you all since I broke my neck, had surgery, etc. more than a year ago. Dr. Norman is awesome even though I didn't like the outcome with my x-ray and the upcoming root canal!!
