About Restore Smiles

Restore Smiles provides dental care on North Interstate Drive in Norman, Oklahoma. Holistic, or biological, dentistry applies standard dental diagnosis and treatment within an approach that emphasises material choice and conservative treatment, considering oral health as connected to the body more broadly rather than treating the mouth in isolation.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Restore Smiles located in Norman?
Restore Smiles is on North Interstate Drive in Norman, Oklahoma (73069).
What days is Restore Smiles open?
Restore Smiles is open Monday through Thursday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Restore Smiles offer?
Listed services at Restore Smiles include Holistic Dentistry. The full list is shown on this page.
What is holistic dentistry?
It is an approach that considers oral health in the context of overall health and tends to emphasise material choices and conservative treatment. The underlying clinical standards for diagnosing and treating dental disease remain the same.
What is the difference between holistic and cosmetic dentistry?
They overlap but are not the same thing. Cosmetic dentistry is about appearance specifically, while holistic dentistry is a broader philosophy about material choice and treating the mouth as connected to overall health, which can apply to any treatment including cosmetic work.
What causes bad breath and can a dentist help?
Persistent bad breath most often comes from bacteria on the tongue and around the gumline, and gum disease is a frequent underlying cause. Because it is usually oral in origin, a dental examination is a sensible first step.

My experience with Proud to Serve Dentistry has always been top notch. From the time I walk in the door until I leave the care and service I receive is excellent. This includes the receptionist, the assistants as well as Dr. Jones.

Absolutely love Dr.Audrey & the whole staff is phenomenal, from Josh at the front desk, to the dental hygienist.. Dr.Audrey doesn’t sugar coat and is straight up about the health of your teeth in what needs to be done but having a nurturing, gentle & caring bedside manner .. I drive 45 minutes from the city to Norman knowing I’m in excellent hands and always pleased with the outcome.. I highly recommend her, & very happy to finally have a dentist I trust and respect .. Thanks Dr. Audrey for giving me a million dollar smile and taking care of my precious pearls …

Dr. Audrey is the first dentist I’ve had who actually paid attention to the full picture. After years of sinus problems and headaches, she was the only one who carefully reviewed my imaging and pointed out root canal material sitting in my sinus — something multiple other dentists completely missed. She listened to my concerns, respected my wishes, and worked with me. She removed my root canal teeth and periodontal ligament, treated the area with ozone, and repaired my sinus. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about metal sensitivity and helped me get a metal-free partial, which was extremely important for my health. What I appreciate most about Dr. Audrey is that she doesn’t dismiss concerns or rush decisions. She thinks critically, explains things clearly, and genuinely cares about how dental work affects overall health — not just teeth. I’m very grateful I found her!

Apologies for a bad review I left earlier. It was for someone else who comes up under the same search. This place is great. Really knows what they're doing more than anyone else. I just wished they were in my budget.

Our family has had deep cleanings, fillings, and an extraction through this office. I have noticed that Dr Audrey is extremely precise and takes the quality of her work very seriously. She is very patient forward in her approach going to great measures to help her patients feel comfortable. She remains calm and reassuring during each procedure. She has been working with holistic dentistry longer than most and has taken time to educate us about why she uses certain practices.
