Risas Dental and Braces - Culebra Meadows

Have 2 kids with braces from here.

My son Johnathon ordered a set of retainers from the lab paid 300.00 dollars. From day one there was issues removing them and the texture is really thick compared to the ones Risas gives you he had those for 2 1/2 yrs after the braces are removed it comes with the package we paid for .so after 3 /month's the top ones Cracked these are the new set from the lab and guess what there is no warranty for that if we replace them it will be the same cost .so be aware of this they suggested Johnathon getting them from the lab. not sure what was he's name the guy they sent to talk to me about this issue but all that came out of he's mouth was excuses didn't resolve the issue so be aware Risas is not there for the patient come on there should be atleast 6 months of something when this happens. He said there was a little girl that has to replace hers every month cause she grinds her teeth i call that lies you think her parents can pay 150 to replace them .really !! Didn't believe he's nonsense..money doesn't grow on trees. Will not recommend Risas any longer . So disappointed with them..

My sister had to come in for an emergency, she called ahead to make sure that they were open, they took her information, she found a sitter, drive 45 minutes across town just for them to be “closed”. There was a car parked out back and the lights were on but nobody answered the phone or opened the door. Love when that happens.

I do have to say I’ve always been so scared of the dentist and had bad experience with some before and this time Dr Chapa and her assistant (forgot to get her name ) were the best I’ve had .. I had to get a tooth pulled and they both made me feel so calm and relaxed and just explained everything and took their time to me ..and don’t get me started on the payment plan that helped me out so much and they were way more cheaper then everyone and did a better job at that ..I already told my mom and sister to go.. Thxs again

Just recently moved to Texas and was looking for a new Dentist and Orthodontist to get the process started with braces . I had booked appointments with other dental offices in the city and never followed thru due to the interaction with front desk personal and not so friendly vibe , but this office is amazing . Very friendly staff ! I went in for a consultation basically and was able to meet the Dentist Dr H briefly to just make sure my prior work still looked good and he was so friendly and once I met the orthodontist she was so nice and made me feel so confident starting this journey with her . I go Friday to get my braces on and this is hands down the cheapest cost for braces I’ve ever seen ! They make it so affordable. I feel very confident in this office and I’m so excited for my appointment to start this journey with them

Excellent service! The dentist was able to take out my wisdom tooth the same day! I didn’t feel the shots and was on my way home in 30 minutes! Both locations offer outstanding dentists and staff! They are very caring and do not make you feel self conscious!

I do not recommend this place for braces. The communication in this office is very poor, and it is extremely difficult to schedule appointments—even though they tell you visits will be every 6 weeks. When my daughter first got her braces two years ago, there was a different doctor. Since then, the experience has gone downhill. The current doctor told my daughter there was nothing more she could do, yet her teeth were not properly corrected. Overall, the service has been very disappointing. I strongly suggest reading reviews carefully before choosing this office.

I'm so glad I came to this dentist. The staff here are friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable when the dental work was being performed . They made sure I was comfortable throughout the dental procedure. Now I can smile without embarrassment. This was definitely high quality work. Thank you staff for a wonderful visit. Thank you doctor Chapa for giving me my back my smile.

The office opens at 9am. I had a appointment for my daughter at 9am. The time is now 9:11 and they are still not open. When I arrived, the time was 8:50 and the lady came out and said that they were in a meeting and to give them 10 mins....welll why are you guys still not open. Very unprofessional. Just change your time to 9:30. Then you have people outside the door waiting to be seen just for you guys not to open on time. Bad for business. Update: the time is now 9:30am. They opened the door at 9:15am. We are still waiting to be seen.

Absolutely love this place. Took My husband for his tooth pain and now he is so much better. Although it took an extra hour because of an error on insurance, I LOVEDDDD the staff and again if the insurance wasn’t an extra wait we would have been out way sooner.
