8/13: I just had another cleaning. Dr. Alex Fung and the hygienist, Denia, along with the other staff, were kind and efficient. Very pleasant dental trip. Their services are also affordable and easy to schedule. Risas Denver South gave me the best dental appointment I've ever had -- and I was getting a root canal! The staff were very friendly, efficient, and professional. Dr. Rogers kept things upbeat, singing and joking throughout the entire procedure. He had a very calming presence. Everyone was attentive and made sure to explain each step of the process, as well as gave me opportunities to ask questions. The facility was also very clean. I am blown away with how great they were.

I have been a patient at this location for quite some time and have always had positive experiences, which is why this was so disappointing. During my most recent visit, I found it extremely unprofessional that Dr. Fung was repeatedly using profanity in front of me. I come here expecting professional dental care, not to hear inappropriate language. It honestly felt more like walking into a bar than a medical office. What was especially concerning was that this wasn’t happening in a private staff area or break room, where casual conversations would be more understandable. Instead, the profanity was being used in the in patient care areas where patients could clearly hear it. Personally it reflects poorly on the professionalism of the office and creates an uncomfortable environment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as maintaining a respectful and professional atmosphere is an important part of providing quality patient care.

I had an amazing experience at this dental office! From the moment I walked in for my filling, everyone made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Alex Fung was absolutely fantastic—he was gentle, professional, and took the time to explain everything before starting. My filling was done quickly and painlessly, and he made the entire experience so much easier than I expected. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the receptionist at the front desk! She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful from the moment I arrived. Her positive attitude and warm smile made such a difference and really set the tone for my visit. The entire team went above and beyond to provide outstanding care. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients and an office with amazing staff, I highly recommend this practice. Yesterday was my first time stepping foot in Risas Dental office. I came in with my younger sister to get a tooth filled in because she was in alot of pain. The receptionist gals were so friendly and welcoming and I had some questions in regards of getting a new retainer and they were very helpful with answering all my questions. Dr Alex Fung and Vanessa Brito took care of my sister and they even went above and beyond to do more dental work that needed to be done. Dr Alex was so professional and had made the experience fun and pain free. I could tell Dr Alex loves his career and the people he helps daily. It was amazing to see how passionate he was, again this was my first time here and I was just a big sister being supportive and came with her to her appointment. If you need dental work done, braces etc…… I highly recommend this awesome dental office

A special thank you to Ashley, my dental assistant—she was incredibly kind, gentle, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I really appreciated her positive attitude and excellent care. I appreciate how Dr. Fung worked with me. He made sure I knew every step as he was working on my mouth. He made sure I didn't feel pain. I'm so grateful for his compassion and effort on making me feel safe Thur the whole visit. I would recommend him for your dental visits if need that extra assurance to have peace of mind.

I’ve always had a positive experience here. The staff is typically kind, welcoming, and professional. During my visit today, the doctor was amazing as always. However, this time something really concerning happened. While I was in my room for a cleaning, I could clearly hear a dental assistant in the next room speaking very loudly about another patient’s condition, specifically mentioning that he had low bone levels. What made it worse was that she laughed while saying it, and the patient did not seem to find it funny at all. It came across as disrespectful and unprofessional. It was uncomfortable not only because of how the patient was treated, but also because I should not have been able to hear private health information from another room in the first place. Patient privacy and professionalism are extremely important in a healthcare setting, and this situation did not reflect that. I hope this is addressed, as it does not reflect the otherwise great care I’ve received here.

I came in with my boyfriend to have his teeth get worked on. The girl Laura working on his teeth made a weird and uncomfortable comment that was totally intentionally. She should either be trained properly on respect, human decency and how to speak to people or be fired. Calling me, a 19 year old a “mom” to my boyfriend. Very rude knowing damn well I’m not old enough to have an 18 year as a “son”.

First time client with Dr Alexis. Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time and left 30 minutes after i was scheduled. Front desk can’t even be bothered to greet you nonetheless tell you how much longer you’ll be waiting. Based on the other low reviews this is practiced behavior amongst the staff. Spend your money and time elsewhere

The staff has always been very nice and professional. I have been a client here for 2.5 years for braces. My overall experience with the quality of the work was not great. Although the doctor was very willing to listen and would always adjust her work depending on my needs, her work was not the best. The plan was to have my braces off by the 2 year mark. But her work delayed that process. I would see my teeth more misaligned by each visit. I am still at Brisa’s and the doctor has now changed. This new doctor’s work is great! Had she been my doctor from the beginning, I think my review would be ranked higher. My teeth are looking great now, staff is professional and building is very clean!

Dr Fung, has taken the absolute best care of me that, I have ever had from a dentist. Kindness and care from him really shows. I needed a root canal, and he immediately got me in and took care of it, after care with him and the team has been nothing less than great. Thank you, to you and your team!
