About Risas Dental and Braces - Denver South

Set up on West Evans Avenue in College View, Risas Dental and Braces runs as a orthodontic practice focused on alignment work — braces, Invisalign, and clear-aligner cases. The clinic is built around the day-to-day work — not boutique marketing — and serves kids, teens, and adults considering orthodontic treatment. The shape of the practice fits patients who want a clear conversation about what's actually needed, with treatment staged around real priorities rather than a one-shot proposal on the first visit. If you're scoping a College View dental option, this is a sensible practice to put on a short list of candidates and book a first visit with. On the practical side, expect a routine intake visit before any larger work is scheduled — this is how most cases here move from initial consultation to a clear, costed plan that the patient signs off on.

Treatment menu spans traditional metal braces, ceramic braces for adults wanting a less visible option, Invisalign clear aligners, and post-treatment retainer maintenance. The practice also handles retainer maintenance after braces come off when a young patient benefits from earlier intervention rather than waiting for a full adolescent treatment plan. Treatment planning typically begins with imaging and a clear timeline so families know what the months ahead look like before any appliance is placed. On the practical side, expect a routine intake visit before any larger work is scheduled — this is how most cases here move from initial consultation to a clear, costed plan that the patient signs off on.

If you want an orthodontic plan with a defined start, middle, and end rather than open-ended treatment, this is the shape of practice that fits.

Cost positioning for orthodontic plans typically runs as a multi-month payment program rather than a single-visit fee, with most practices offering financing and many accepting orthodontic insurance benefits. Patients searching for Invisalign cost in Denver, orthodontist in Denver, or kids braces in Denver frequently compare two or three practices on price, timeline, and aligner versus braces options. It suits families committing to a one-to-two-year treatment plan and adults who want a clear before-and-after picture before any aligner trays are scanned. The College View location works for patients already running errands in this part of Denver, and parking and transit access tend to be straightforward for the surrounding blocks. On the practical side, expect a routine intake visit before any larger work is scheduled — this is how most cases here move from initial consultation to a clear, costed plan that the patient signs off on. I came in with my boyfriend to have his teeth get worked on. The girl Laura working on his teeth made a weird and uncomfortable comment that was totally intentionally. She should either be trained properly on respect, human decency and how to speak to people or be fired. Calling me, a 19 year old a “mom” to my boyfriend. Very rude knowing damn well I’m not old enough to have an 18 year as a “son”.

First time client with Dr Alexis. Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time and left 30 minutes after i was scheduled. Front desk can’t even be bothered to greet you nonetheless tell you how much longer you’ll be waiting. Based on the other low reviews this is practiced behavior amongst the staff. Spend your money and time elsewhere

The staff has always been very nice and professional. I have been a client here for 2.5 years for braces. My overall experience with the quality of the work was not great. Although the doctor was very willing to listen and would always adjust her work depending on my needs, her work was not the best. The plan was to have my braces off by the 2 year mark. But her work delayed that process. I would see my teeth more misaligned by each visit. I am still at Brisa’s and the doctor has now changed. This new doctor’s work is great! Had she been my doctor from the beginning, I think my review would be ranked higher. My teeth are looking great now, staff is professional and building is very clean!

Dr Fung, has taken the absolute best care of me that, I have ever had from a dentist. Kindness and care from him really shows. I needed a root canal, and he immediately got me in and took care of it, after care with him and the team has been nothing less than great. Thank you, to you and your team!

This clinic has completely crossed the line. We had a 10:30 AM appointment, showed up on time, and ended up waiting a full hour. I asked the front desk twice, and each time I was told, “Just one more round, you’re next.” But guess what? I still had to wait another 30 minutes after that. Meanwhile, other patients who arrived after us were taken in before us. That’s not just bad scheduling — that’s blatant disrespect. And the treatment? Even worse. My wife is getting braces here, and after every single visit, the brackets fall off within 2–3 days. It’s happened again and again, and clearly shows a total lack of skill or care. This place wastes your time, delivers poor work, and treats patients like they don’t matter. If you value your time, your money, and your sanity — STAY AWAY.
