Risas Dental and Braces - Maryvale

The worst. I was trying to find a solution, but Dr. Barbón only made things worse. Two years of suffering until I finally said enough. Now, because of him, I not only had two teeth pulled that he couldn't even extract, but I've lost two more due to his shoddy work. I asked for a refund, and they told me it would take five months—it's a joke. Now I have to pay even more because of his poor work. He doesn't listen to what you say; he's just trying to take on too many patients and rushes everything. And when I asked for my refund, they made me sign something saying it wasn't bad work, implying I did it all myself.

He was so kind, patient, and caring, and he made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout my visit. I also want to give a special thank you to his assistant, Edna. She was so sweet, helpful, and made the experience even better. You can truly tell when people genuinely care about their patients, and I felt that from both of them. I went to their free dental day on Labor Day. Before coming to this location, I had went to two other ones and all of them were maxed out by 10am. But when I went to this location, they had a long line and were maxed out but I think maybe the manager came out to me as I walked to my car and said they will take me in. I was so thankful and everyone there was so kind, helpful. They also gave us chairs and passed out water. Highly recommend, thank you!!!

Omg! Everyone here is the best 💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐it was my first time here, I went in for the free Labor Day weekend deal, and I was able to get two extraction done, Dr woodruff and associate Dr Luis were amazing I didn't feel any pain and the nurse's were kind and they were handing out food and water to everyone that was waiting in line to be seen, honestly 10/10 would recommend!⭐

I had a great experience at Risas Dental! Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The staff made me feel comfortable, and the service was great. I definitely recommend them.

I’ve been to other locations, but this one stood out enough for a review, my girlfriend and I went in for myself and the staff was so helpful and informal my girlfriend got seen and they found out she had an infection and helped her out, what a relief the staff was friendly the Dentist was awesome and amazing at his job and I want to give a special shoutout to Venessa upfront who took so much time and effort to help me and my girlfriend to get the best deals to fix her teeth we have our home dental office now please keep it up and thanks for the help !! 5 stars

I went in today 6/16/26 to see troy slade about a few teeth that where causing me pain. Thanks to a train i was 16 minutes late to my appointment to which the wonderful ladies still accepted me. Intial cost was 10 bucks for x-rays and exam which is cheaper then any place I've ever been. After everything was done i found out i had 7 teeth that had to be extracted which i already knew about. Unfortunately access only covers 1000 dollars of emergency dental work. Which anyone knows is only 3 teeth getting pulled. Well doctor slade pulled all 7 and while the shots sucked i still barely felt them, and didn't feel one thing during the extractions. I have been in pain off and on (more on then off) for 25 years, and thanks to this saint of a man i will never play the when will it hurt next game.

The best dental place to get work done! Staff is so nice & patient! But i wanna give a special shout out to Leticia Sanchez & Dr. Sorenson they are the best :)!
