About Riverside Center For Esthetic Dentistry

Riverside Center For Esthetic Dentistry is a dental practice on Tibbetts Street in the Magnolia Center area of Riverside, California. Tooth Decay Treatment is also among the treatments offered here, and the practice can explain what it involves and whether it fits your situation at a consultation.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward. Can you get a cavity between teeth?
Yes, and it is common, which is why flossing matters and why dentists take X-rays. Decay between teeth is invisible to the eye until it is well advanced, so it is frequently found on an X-ray first.
Does a cavity always need a filling?
Once decay has broken through the enamel it does need treatment, because it will keep progressing. What that treatment involves depends on depth: a filling for most, and more extensive work if it has reached the nerve.
Why do dentists take X-rays?
Decay between teeth and problems below the gumline are invisible to the naked eye, so X-rays are what reveal them. Modern digital images use a low dose and are taken only when clinically justified.

Words alone can't convey how wonderful these people are. You must experience it. Dr. Jacobs is head and shoulders talented ,nice above any competition. I also like the fact he does continuing education. I have used many dentists in my 92 years so I can comment with experience evaluating from a patient's viewpoint .you won't be sorry you used their services.

Had my cleaning today. The dental hygienist was so gentle and took her time. Dr. Jacobs and his entire staff are so kind and professional. I get so many compliments on my smile. I’ve been coming to this office for over 5 years now. Had braces, crowns, cleanings and bleaching done at this office. Both my daughters also had their braces done and have beautiful smiles. The Best Dentist in the Western hemisphere!

This review is a long time coming. I worked with Dr. Jacobs and his staff late last year (Oct-Dec) to address a crown and bridge I've had for over 20 years. The crown was done incorrectly from the very beginning, which was why I felt so much insecurity when I smiled. But dental work is pretty expensive and since it also wasn't an emergency, I never got them fixed. Fast forward to my first meeting with Dr. Jacobs and I knew I found the right dentist for my procedure. When I asked him for pictures of his previous work, he went through files and files of his work. All of the pictures were absolutely stunning. When it came time for pricing, I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to my insurance (delta dental) the cost was no longer a barrier to fixing my teeth. For weeks, Dr. Jacobs patiently helped me adjust the temporaries until they were exactly what I envisioned and wanted. I didn't want to end up like the previous 20 years, where I would feel stuck with a bad permanent crown and bridge. Even though it took a little longer, Dr. Jacobs and his staff welcomed me into their office every time I asked about potential changes. Once I was completely confident, it took 2 hours to get the procedure done and I left home with a beautiful, natural-looking, smile. I couldn't be happier!! Since then, I've gone back for deep cleanings and will start taking my kids to Dr. Jacobs for their cleanings as well. I highly recommend working with Dr. Jacobs and everyone at the office. They really are the best!

Dr. Jacobs is a very nice dentist as he was able to save a tooth Just by filling it and other dentists said It had to be pulled. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him. The office is very nice and very modern. He has plenty of staff helping him and in spite of several patients being there, he got to me very fast.
