About Robison Associates: Letha Robison DDS

Robison Associates: Letha Robison DDS operates on Templeton Gap Road in the East Colorado Springs area of Colorado Springs, Colorado. At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment. I’m a new patient and could not be more pleased. I’m not rushed in/rushed out like I’m part of a herd. They take the time to look at everything then go into detail about what’s happening, why and what needs to be done.

This office welcomed me with open arms as I pretty much walked off the street with a dental emergency. They treated my situation with in-depth care and gave me options for treatment. From Dr Robison herself to the others in her practice, I knew I was in competent and caring hands.

I was referred to Dr. Letha Robinson DDS by my dentist about three years ago who was currently retiring. On my very first visit, she created a dental plan for all the teeth with current issues and the teeth that needed immediate attention to be addressed first. I would like to let Dr. Letha Robinson DDS know that I feel extremely honored to be a patient of hers and feel overwhelming proud of the dental work she has performed on my teeth and the comfort she provides for her patients... Thank you! I really appreciate all of the Dental Assistants and Staff for the warm and welcoming environment!

From the time that I walked in to inquire about their services until my last visit last week for my cleaning, my experience is always been top-notch! Staff friendly professional expedient. Hygienist thorough careful and very professional. Dr Robison as always was absolutely the best. Will probably be staying with this office and I highly recommend them.

I have visited L Robinson office on Templton Gap 3 times with an At Risk Adult and each time was bad. 2 stars is being generous. This is in a span of 9 days. First visit L Robinson was very aggressive with the AT RISK ADULTS dentures as well as the patient. The patient would jump and say oww each time Robinson would aggressively raise her chin, put in her dentures and or feel around in the AT RISK ADULTS mouth. The AT RISK ADULT paid out of pocket so no reason for her to treat her that way. 2nd visit, I was asked to leave the room I told Robinson I would rather stay and she insisted I leave. Once The AT RISK ADULT came out she stated she was left alone for too long and she became afraid. 3rd visit, we were shown to the exam room and the first was very nice and I thanked her for her kindness. Robinson enters in in an aggressive manner and tells the nice lady to just take her dentures out and check her gums without hearing us out as to the issue and where the location of issue, one of the hygienist called the nice lady to the room next door and here comes Robinson again being aggressive with the patient. Robinson walks out and the AT RISK ADULT says she hurts me. Robinson enters in and ask her several times if she was hurting the AT RISK ADULT was not comprehending and I said she said you were hurting her, L Robinson proceeded to raise her voice at me and stated "I am talking to my patient if you want to do my job then come over here and do it". While maintaining my composure I spoke softly and explained that the AT RISK ADULT wouldn't express that to her. Robinson continued, she leaves the room and came back a little nicer when some lady came to give her equipment. She comes back and seems to change her demeanor. I felt as though we were in a horror movie. I noticed Robinson kept looking at my phone as though wondering if I was videoing. The last time she came in she gave her instructions ( THE AT RISK ADULT) suggested she come back if there are anymore issues. I kindly told she would not be back. The nice lady asked me why and I told her L Robinson was rude and disrespectful.

My husband and I have been going to dentists every 6 months, for the last 40 years, in 3 different states. Dr. Robison, by far, is the best dentist we've ever had! She's passionate about oral health and patient well-being. She's compassionate, highly skilled, and her attention to detail is exceptional. Her office staff is welcoming, friendly, and supportive.
