Morningside implant and restorative center
Smyleee Rating
Outstanding
Roots Dental & Dental Implant Center - Salem is ranked in the top 3 on 1 Smyleee Top 10 list.
Roots Dental & Dental Implant Center on 12th Street Southeast in Morningside combines general dentistry with a dedicated implant program, which means routine work and implant cases can both happen in the same office rather than being split across multiple practices. The clinic handles cases ranging from single-tooth replacements to full-arch reconstructions for patients moving past dentures, with the imaging and prosthetic work kept in-house so the same team owns the case end to end.
Services span single tooth implants, multiple-implant bridges, full-arch All-on-4 cases, bone grafting and sinus lifts when site preparation is needed, and oral surgery for complex extractions or pre-implant work. The practice also handles full mouth rehabilitation for patients needing comprehensive restoration across one or both arches. Routine general dentistry runs alongside the implant program so patients aren't shuttled between offices for long-term follow-up after the implant is placed and restored.
If you're treating implant work as part of your overall dental care rather than a one-off project, this is the kind of practice where the same team can carry both threads on a single calendar.
Pricing fits the mid-range Willamette Valley implant tier, with payment plans available for full-arch and full-mouth cases and clear pretreatment cost discussions on the consultation visit. Patients searching for affordable implant dentist in Salem, OR, single tooth implant cost in Salem, OR, or cost-effective dental implants in Salem under $3,000 tend to look at general-plus-implant practices like this one when continuity with their general dentist matters as much as the implant case itself. It suits patients wanting their implant dentist to also be their long-term general dentist for ongoing maintenance after delivery. First visits usually begin with imaging, a cleaning, and a comprehensive exam so the dentist can plan both the implant case and any needed routine work in a single coordinated treatment plan. The 12th Street Southeast location in Morningside is convenient for patients across southeast Salem, and the practice's combined general-and-implant shape works particularly well for patients who'd rather not split their dental ecosystem between a separate general dentist and a separate implant specialist when one experienced practice can handle both threads under a single calendar.
Roots Dental & Dental Implant Center on 12th Street Southeast in Morningside handles single tooth implants, All-on-4 reconstructions, bone grafting, and full-mouth rehabilitation cases.

Wonderful dental office. The dentist was very kind and listened to what I had to say. The office is very nice with some really nice antiques. The whole staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend.
I had great treatment here. All the staff from front desk to dentists and financial consultant were extremely personable and kind as well as very knowledgeable and was able to explain the how and why of how they reached their recommended treatment plan. They asked me what kind of outcome I was looking to get and created several treatment options specifically for what I wanted. They did scans, cleaning, and full exam for me. I am sure they could tell I do not have much $$ to invest into my dental work, so when I went to check out and they only asked for $32 I was shocked as they had quoted much more for the scans alone. I had agreed to have them done after hesitation, as I needed the scans but also didn't really have the $$ to spare. The Dr had asked the staff to adjust my portion the insurance company quoted to 0. Writing off what for some wouldn't be much at all, but for me... it was alot. I absolutely recommend this office to ANYONE needing a gentle approach and an office that is helpful and mindful of patients financial situation without being judgy or giving a different level of kindness and effort to people based on how they look..Thank you so much Roots Dental... 🥰🥰😇😙Patti
Had my initial consultation, indo gathering. The presentation was complete and very thorough. I asked detailed questions and received detail answers. Financials were head-on and made it easy to weigh options and make decisions. I highly recommend Roots Dental & Implant Center.
Update as of 3pm same day!: Went back to get my denture I believe (Dr Ramsey plz forgive me if not correct) battled for me and went to Dr Huish. Dr Huish fougnt for me and stood by me. Just as I knew he would. He is refunding my money and honoring the arrangement that was originally made. So thank you Dr Ramsey and Dr Huish. I do not like that the office manager was standing outside my treatment room listening into our conversation. She should not have been, its patient privacy. I have been going here for years! When it was Salem Dental. Dr Seth Huish is an amazing Dentist. But since it has changed to Roots it is overpriced, they charge for treatments not discussed. They do not stick to their “financial agreements plans” that the office manager makes you sign. Then she is very condescending when disputing saying “I am sorry I cant tell you what they do in the rooms as I am not in there”. They should stick to signed agreements/contracts and if additional charges are needed those need to be disclosed and approved by patient. I have had nothing but issues since it changed to Roots. I can’t even see Dr Huish. 1st visit before surgery waited in waiting room for over an hour after scheduled appointment and then additional 30 minutes in treatment room. I had to find someone and I was forgotten. Had to pay for that visit too, just to be told I needed a Gingivectomy and Reline.
Having been to visit various dentists for 65 years or so, I have never had a hygienist do such a thorough job as Richard. It has been a very long time since my teeth and gums felt so healthy. I am so impressed with his work that I cancelled my husband's appointment in order to have Richard perform the teeth cleaning. Kudos!
